You have to visit this place just cuz. I needed door hardware that was a little more robust than what you get at the box stores. Michael was more than helpful and together we found a solution that worked great. Prices were good too. He has a surprising selection of doors and hardware and lots of other things. Can't wait for a reason to go back.

So much more than just a door store or hardware store - there are three floors of home goodies to peruse. Not to mention the amiable glazier on the top floor, surrounded by examples of his intricate handiwork. As a bonus, James and Madison are two very friendly resident cats that have the run of the place. I'm quite partial to five-panel doors, and they have lots from which to choose. Friendly and welcoming, not to be missed!

A real hardware store with 3-4 floors of hardware you can't get everywhere.

My favorite shop in downtown Lynchburg. Definitely my "go-to" shop for all things unusual. Be sure to visit ALL 3 floors and take time to look around.

Lovely location featuring 3 stories. The furniture, including multi piece sets are remarkably affordable and able to easily revamp any room of your home. The hardware has a huge selection. Make sure you stop in and pet the resident felines James and Madison.

Great, friendly small town hardware store with a little bit of everything. Beside regular hardware store stuff it has cool furniture and accessories.

This store is about 100 years old. They have a staggering array of new, modern hardware and pieces-parts and OLD vintage items such as complete doors, iron works, windows, shutters, mantles and such for restoration work on historical homes. They build Adirondack chairs and gliders on-site and sell them. Super nice staff who know the hardware business. Their prices rival and sometimes beat the Big Box hardware stores. You can spend HOURS going through the place - they have two co-joined storefronts, the first floors are the hardware and furniture items then, one floor with nothing but doors, another with just windows, another with iron work and lamp posts etc, etc. And yes, they even have a huge Hardware Store Cat that lays up front near the counter and expects scratchies when you walk by.

A place of many treasures old, new, and forgotten. An enjoyable venture everytime! They are very helpful if there's anything you don't have but you need. It's one of those you'll have to visit yourself to understand the inventory this hardware store has.And NOTE: there is PARKING right across the street from it's front entrance.

Quick service with good prices. I can go here and get for 300 what I would get for 400 at Home Depot. Also the quality is just as good as anywhere else.
