Just spent two nights at the inn this past weekend. The inn is amazing and in walking distance to everything on Main Street. The decor, the room, and the property 10/10. The host Art is a great guy. He is very knowledgeable about the area gave excellent recommendations on local restaurants and things to do. We took his recommendation on where to eat and his choices did not disappoint. The room we stayed in was very cozy. All amenities up to date. (WiFi, Roku tv, etc) I liked that each room has two entrances and exits meaning we didn’t have to go through the home to get to our room every time. The breakfast was also very tasty. Art had selections from the local bakery each morning for us to eat. We will be coming back.

We stayed at the Inn in early June for my wife's birthday and really enjoyed our stay. Janina was very friendly and makes a great breakfast! We will definitely stay here again!

This was my first B&B experience and it was just what I was hoping. Our room (Boudoir Suite) was spacious, private, clean, cozy and romantic. Art was wonderful, attentive, hospitable, informative, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! The Inn is in the middle of the main and within walking distance of shops, food and entertainment. We had a private entrance and parking. Just by the luck of the draw, we had the entire house to ourselves. DEFINITELY ON MY "WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN!" LIST!Nearby activities: Luray Caverns, its surrounding museums and the Singing Tower are 1 mile away from the Inn. Shenandoah National Park is about a 15 minute drive away.Walkability: The Inn is located in the heart of the town. You can easily walk to nearby shopping, food and entertainment.Food & drinks: We ate at Watch & Warrant and Il Vesuvio. We were not disappointed. Some of our breakfast (roasted tomato and pesto quiche, croissants and knotted bread) came from the bakery across the street from the inn.

Situated in the heart of Luray, this charming old Victorian B&B was exactly what we needed for a lovely weekend getaway! Each inside the home was more beautiful than the next and there were so many interesting historical artifacts and artwork to take in. We stayed in the Boudoir Suite – beautifully decorated, spacious, and so romantic. The innkeeper was so friendly and helpful…his recommendations couldn’t have been more spot on. The Inn is right on Main Street in historic downtown. There were so many lovely shops and restaurants that were walkable! Luray is such a great town – nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Skyline Drive. We were able to fit in a hike in Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. With all the wonderful memories we made, staying at the Inn of the Shenandoah was right there at the top. We’ll surely be back!

Recently stayed here for a wekeend trip riding my motorcycle along Skyline Drive and the surrounding country side. The location was ideal! In the heart of Luray, it's walking distance to local eateries. The accomodations were fantastic. The room was clean and had fantastic views out of every window. The outside balcony was a huge plus! And the host took amazing care of us so that we wanted for nothing the entire stay. I highly recommend staying here if you're taveling to the area. I'd definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place to stay! Such a cute room with a jacuzzi, and the decorations/details were on point. The innkeepers Janina and Matt are very kind and accommodating, they give great recommendations for things to do. Larry the dog is a sweetie too! Great location right in town and convenient to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

The owners are very attentive to guests and every bit of the stay was welcoming and accommodating. From the greeting when you arrive, the little touches in your guest room, and delectable assortments for breakfast, the experience was everything we could have hoped for in a weekend getaway. It is quite evident the owners take pride in their property and the service they provide. We highly recommend anyone visiting Luray, VA to stay at The Inn of the Shenandoah.

Lovely property close to the centre of Luray with delightful hosts Matt and Yanina, and friendly dog Larry. Comfortable queen bed and excellent breakfasts, with freshly baked quiche from the bakery right across the road! Nice touches in our room like providing Alexa ("What's the weather going to be like in Luray tomorrow?") and a place to wirelessly charge your phone. We had a great stay.

We found this beautiful place by accident when we were searching the internet. This is an experience worth a visit. The restaurant was excellent too!

I was looking for a place for a weekend getaway when I planned an all-day hiking excursion nearby. The Inn of the Shenandoahs was beautiful, and it the perfect place to relax. Everything was charming, beautiful and historic, and the whirlpool bath was just right after a rough day on the trails. The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating, and made a lovely breakfast taking into account my dietary needs and preferences. I definitely hope to return in the near future!

The Inn keepers made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the property. This beautiful victorian style home is not only classy but has a warmth and welcoming energy. Our rooms were immaculately clean. The room accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The king size bed was clean and comfortable to sleep on. The spa tub was relaxing and therapeutic. Larry, the hypoallergenic golden doodle was adorable and well behaved. The property offers several covered porches and sitting rooms. The location is close to several area attractions including the Duke of Hazard museum, where Cooter is sometimes live and in person as he was when we visited. The local brewer in walking distance had friendly staff and a fun atmosphere for enjoying a refreshing beverage. You are a short drive to lakes, rivers and the skyway. Every person we encountered in town was friendly and welcoming especially the Inn Keepers Matt and Janina. and finally each morning we were met with a delicious hot breakfast with fresh fruit and juice and assortment of baked goods. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy...
