Mayneview is a phenomenal bed and breakfast. The home is the perfect merging of old quaint fixtures with updated amenities. The waterfall shower was luxurious and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are spectacular. The bed was very comfortable and the TV had streaming services. Gregory was extremely helpful, accommodating, and he made the most delicious breakfasts. We are eager to plan our next trip and stay at the Mayneview B&B. If you are going to be in the area this B&B is where you should stay.
Walkability: The location was situated to enjoy spectacular views and easily walk into town.

The house is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the area is wonderful. What really brought it all together, though, was the absolute champion of an innkeeper, Gregory. You can tell he honestly enjoys what he does, and he really does it all! From his professionalism in booking and pre-stay communications, to the gorgeous remodeling work he's done, to the outstanding breakfast and desserts he made, Gregory really made our stay special.
I cannot recommend Mayneview B&B enough, and my wife and I will absolutely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay, awesome extras (hot tub, firepit, smores) - thank you! Rooms were clean and well-stocked. Other guests were fun and pleasant. Tons of hikes in the area, nearby coffee and pizza. We hope to be back one day! Shout out to Gregory for being a great host and even customizing breakfast to suit our needs (vegetarian).

If you are visiting Luray, this is the place to stay! This inn is perched on a hillside with the most perfect view of the town and mountains. There is a detached porch area with hot tub and fire pit, perfect spot to read in the mornings and sit by the fire in the evenings. There were lots of nice touches, packets of seeds for guests to take home and fresh treats baked each day. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and sustaining for a day of hiking in the park. Bryce was very knowledgeable about the park and things to do in the area and made several great recommendations. We had a fantastic stay!

Rooms: The rooms have that quaint and cozy feel. Walk in tiled showers in most rooms. Everything looks as if it has recently been updated. Very clean ?. The beds are comfortable but they are platform beds which make them alittle lower than normal for getting in and out of.Walkability: Close to everything in downtown Luray.

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this as a place to stay in Shenandoah Valley. B&Bs are fun. It’s nice to get a personalized welcome w a tour on arrival. It was neat to stay in a place w so much history. The renovations are being done so nicely to preserve the place w modern updates. Breakfast was excellent and we even got smores while looking at the stars by the firepit at night. It felt like they take care of you here. There are many nice touches to help you be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Thank you to the owner and innkeeper. I don’t know why this says 2 stars. It’s definitely more!

We booked the Mayneview house, along with the Cottage for 4 nights over July 4th weekend for our family reunion. The house was perfect to accommodate our large family. Very clean and plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen was large and the dining room is a great gathering place. The views were amazing, especially from the pavilion/deck. Lots of sites and activities in the area, and a great place to relax at the end of the day. Bryce and Greg were wonderful hosts, sharing a lot of knowledge of the area history and sites.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at the Mayneview B&B this past weekend. Gregory was so attentive to everyone and made an excellent, hearty breakfast for us each morning. The B&B is located within a quick walk of the town with great views of the hills. Very pretty property with comfortable rooms and friendly guests. Would stay again! 5/5 ??

We had a great experience at Mayneview during our stay at the end of May. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Hawksbill Room. Gregory and Bryce were great hosts- Bryce gave us some good trail recommendations for Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas, and Gregory was kind enough to accommodate an early breakfast one morning. Breakfasts were delicious, and the view of the mountains was spectacular. Good location too- easy drive to the main street and not too far from the park.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Mayneview B&B. Both mornings we had a delicious breakfast and the homemade cookies by Hugh were amazing! Our guest room was newly renovated and very comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and relaxing by the fire-pit at night and making s'mores. Would highly recommend this B&B!

We stayed this past weekend. The house is lovely. Needs a little exterior work for sure, windows etc. But the property views are gorgeous. Breakfast was tasty. No wine on arrival or tasty treats throughout the stay as advertised on the website. Hugh was our point of contact and he was very efficient and helpful. You are very correct about the wine absolutely I read it on another site. Regarding the tasty treats ..."We also offer home made sweet treats available throughout your stay such as homemade cakes, pies, cookies, custards, sweet breads, pastries and more. " taken from your site.I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone in the area it seems to be one of the best.Oh and the hot tub and fire pit a must there. And the wildlife.
