I'm writing from the perspective of a bridesmaid – Corina and Linda are a dynamic team that really do put together the perfect package for any wedding. I’d suggest this venue for any bride/bridal party. Our time spent at Khimaira Farm was relaxing and so much fun. We could really focus on our bride and the experience-- they had everything else taken care of!

We are so happy we picked Khimaira for our wedding. The venue has everything we needed (decorations, chairs, staff) and kept us from doing a lot of legwork. Linda and Corina were a fantastic team to work with. I definitely recommend their concierge service to help you carry the weight. All of our friends say it's the best venue they've ever been to. This venue was perfect! Corina and Linda went above and beyond to provide the best wedding experience for us. We fell in love immediately with the ceremony views of the mountains in the back drop (it made for STUNNING) photos, too! We loved that Khimaira Farm didn't feel sterile like most venues out this way - it felt comfortable and homey. Lots of little details and touches that made us and our guests feel welcome from the very beginning. Corina and the concierge services provided by her and the venue staff are awesome and super competitively priced if you're not looking to spend a lot of time and money on decor, set up, tear down, etc. They have everything you need. Eco-friendly, cost effective, and beautiful, Cannot recommend Khimaira Farm enough.

We couldn't have picked a better venue than Khimaira! They worked so well with us to help make our vision come to life. We absolutely loved having more time to focus on our friends and family (and time for them to focus on us!) since we didn't have to set up or tear down the venue. They have every imaginable decor item and a huge history of photos, and pretty much every Pinterest finding you can think of they already have! Even though you know they are busy with so many other weddings, Linda and Corina make you, your fiance and your family and friends feel like you're the only ones that matter at every interaction. They are also REALLY experienced at weddings - if you want to micromanage every detail this is not the place for you! If you're ready to share your vision, hammer out the details, and let Linda, Corina and their crew make it all happen, this place is a dream. Aside from decorating they help coordinate everything with your big day and take ALL their bits of advice! The value you get for the price you pay is really high. We are STILL getting compliments from friends and family on the venue months later!

The gorgeous mountain back drop for the ceremony drew me to this venue. I had no idea that the actual best part would be Linda and her daughter, Corina.
As a bride, my day ran incredibly smooth leaving me able to soak in and enjoy every single moment. Corina and Linda handled anything and everything day of, not to mention the countless emails and times I met with these two in person prior to the big day.
My guests were wowed by the beautiful ceremony and reception. My uncle, who has been in the wedding industry for years commented that this was the most organized and well run wedding he had ever seen.
This venue bundled decor, place settings, coordination, set up / breakdown and so much more! It saved me an incredible amount of time and stress and the end result was more than I could have hoped for. Corina did a beautiful job and had such attention to detail in the tablescapes, dessert table, Arbor, and bridal / groomsmen suites. On my wedding day I came early to drop off my gown and was able to appreciate how truly amazing the space looked. I never would have received the same results had I attempted to enlist family / friends or even hire someone else. Linda and Corina made my vision come to life and everything was perfect.
Lastly, Corina, captured some absolutely stunning shots from the day that were unique from what my photographer got. Right before Christmas Linda and Corina mailed these high resolution photos to me via flash drive along with a personalized ornament. Such a wonderful early Christmas present and great way to relive the best day of my life.
Thank you so much Khimaira for a day my husband and I will cherish the rest of our lives!

I cannot express how wonderful our experience with Khimaira Farm was, from planning, to wedding day and to post-wedding memories.
We first found Khimaira when my now husband was looking for venues closer to home. We are very much national parks people and Khimaira is super close to Shenandoah National Park. We emailed Linda, the venue owner, to see available dates. We had originally chosen a 2018 date but with us living many miles away and both in graduate programs we decided to delay to 2019. Linda was more than accommodating and we got underway in planning.
Linda and her daughter, Corina, helped me plan through full time work and school and from many states away and made the planning process so easy and painless! The day came and my family and I didn’t even have to lift a finger! Linda and Corina has thought of EVERY DETAIL and made us able to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest.
If you are looking to have a relaxed and carefree wedding planning with basically built in wedding planners with a huge supply of decorations, resources and options for photographs, this is 200% your place!

My wedding here was such a wonderful experience, from ease of planning to the efficiency with which the staff carries out the day. The location is breathtaking, the values they have as a sustainable farm made me feel good about choosing them, and the details and care they took in decorating went beyond expectations. Yes, they own whole roomfuls of decorations to use with their concierge service, and it's all beautiful! Corina really put together my vision based on my pinterest boards--she knew what I wanted even when I had trouble knowing exactly what I was going for myself! I'm still getting compliments from guests on the choice of venue. If I could do it all over, I would pick Khimaira again in a heartbeat.

Khimaira made our wedding experience better than we could've hoped. They were very friendly and supportive from the beginning to the end, and even followed up afterward. Their property and event barn are beautiful. Linda, her daughter, and her family and staff put in so much effort in time to help us plan and host the event. They were easy and fun to work with, and were extremely helpful in everything from vendor contracts to decorating details. They even helped us with last minute accommodations around a weather emergency. We are so happy and thankful we chose them!

For our wedding we wanted to bring all our family, friends and loved ones together to a location that we love, in a place that feels like home. Khimaira Farm is an absolutely beautiful venue that shows off all the glory of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. The mountains spread out endlessly around the farm, and the farm provides a cozy and welcoming venue to dance and celebrate. And while the Khimaira Farms views, goats, and beautiful barn were very important to us, ultimately it was the wonderful hosts, the Campbell Family, that led us to choose Khimaira Farm for our big day!
Linda, Leith and their daughter Corina immediately made us feel like part of the family. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming, that we knew that we wanted to work with them throughout our engagement and on our wedding day. During the planning process, they were very responsive. They have so many decorations on site that we were able save money purchasing any of our own. Furthermore, through surveys, emails and visits, the Campbell's worked closely with us to ensure that our vision came through. Corina, has a great eye, and she helped bring our ideas to life.
On the day of our wedding - the Khimaira Farm staff managed every detail with grace. We had zero stress, because we knew that the staff could handle anything.
We feel truly lucky to have worked with the Campbell's. Our wedding is a day that we, along with our guests, will never forget. The specialness of our day is a tribute to Linda, Leith and Corina and the incredible passion they have for making their clients dreams come true.

From the moment we walked in the door to view the venue as a wedding option, Linda made us feel like family. Their two wonderful dogs greeted us at our car and she hugged us upon meeting us. The venue was nothing short of spectacular and the view cannot be put into words. We booked the venue a year and a half in advance and Linda and Corina were so responsive and helpful along the way. They reviewed our contracts to ensure we weren't paying for unnecessary items with our vendors and took our pinterest board ideas and blew them out of the water. The day of the event was so laid back because they handled all of the particulars and ensured we had nothing to worry about. I cannot recommend them enough to my family and friends for their nuptials because Linda, Corina and the Khimaira family are simply the best!

We waited 5 years after getting engaged to have our wedding, in part because we couldn't find the right venue. After looking on and off during that time, we finally found Khimaira Farm (1 of 3 venues we actually visited), and quickly realized we had found something special. We loved the relaxed/fun vibe Khimaira Farm had to offer and couldn't be more satisfied with our experience there both with the venue and the staff. There are so many things for your guests to do there- games, porch swings, walking around the grounds, and I really appreciate all the thought that has gone into that. After all the hard work you put into planning the wedding, it's really rewarding to hear your guests talk about what a great time they had.
Linda and her team are easy to work with, they pay attention to detail, and are genuinely good people who want you to enjoy your wedding day above all else. Here's a good example- although they have plenty of awesome decorations, I enjoy making things and really wanted to make these bike tire wedding welcome signs since I bike. I hadn't had time to make any kind of stand for them but gave Linda a brief description of my vision for them and she assured me they would find a place for them. Linda's daughter, Corina, ended up creating a gorgeous display with them right at the entrance to the ceremony that was exactly what I was imagining and I received a ton of compliments on it! Corina also took pictures (I didn't even realize she was doing that) that helped supplement the pictures from the photographer.
I've written words, but I still feel like I really have no words about this place, the people there and the time we had there- so much love all around! I'm hoping we get invited to another wedding there so we can enjoy it all over again :)

PERFECT WEDDING VENUE!
Writing this review is very difficult because it's impossible to list all the ways the Campbell/Nicol Families make their lovely farm your perfect wedding vision, and all the small details they are paying attention to that you never even know about. This family puts in so much time and effort into the weddings they host, once we visited, we knew right away it was the place for us.
Special Perks:
- Corina worked tirelessly to make my vision for the barn look perfect! Since I live out of town, we emailed back and forth options of table decor until we got it just right. They have so many decor items we didn't have to buy a thing!
- My wedding ceremony lasted ~30 minutes, as soon as we were done - it poured rain (they do have a quick and easy rain day plan btw). They worked with us so quickly to rearrange the schedule for the rest of the evening and keep things moving so we could do pictures later. Our guests didn't even know we had changed plans.
- They've done so many weddings, they fix problems before you even knew they existed.
- You can choose your own vendors, but they have worked with so many in the area and can make recommendations. All their vendors love them.
- Photo both in-house and already set up!
- So many of our guests were asking "How did you find this amazing place?" and commenting that it was the best wedding they've every been to.
Book in advance because they are popular because of everything that you get with a very reasonable base price. Please do them a favor of visiting and talk with Corina about all the ways they can make your wedding everything you want it to be. The absolutely gorgeous venue and the whole Campbell/Nicol Family will make your day better than you could imagine. Their family business gave us so many fond memories we will cherish forever.
