Village Inn is a quaint, nostalgic motel on US 29 in Lovingston, offering a taste of Americana with a charming Dutch-German exterior. The rooms are consistently described as clean, comfortable, and inviting, with comfortable beds that ensure a good night's rest in a very quiet setting. They are not modern but are well-equipped with amenities like a large TV, mini fridge, microwave, and plenty of electrical outlets. Many guests highlight the helpful, pleasant, and gracious proprietors, who are warm and welcoming, often going above and beyond to assist travelers. The location is noted as great for tired travelers, featuring beautiful scenery and a view. A pizzeria across the street provides a convenient dining option. While most experiences are positive, noting a great shower pressure and original artwork in rooms, there can be occasional issues such as poor cell service, unreliable AC, or power outages during storms. The office is located in a separate house to the right of the hotel. Despite minor drawbacks, guests report being very pleased, often stating they would definitely return and highly recommend a stay.
Clean! Convenient for out of town traveling. Affordable. Friendly staff.

Beautiful view.. had a couple of issues. There is no cell service for some reason, but Wi fi is available. My AC unit didn't work too well, which led to some pretty uncomfortable nights. My last night here, the power went out due to a storm and made it ultra miserable.

Nice clean rooms. Not modern but very clean. Office is in the house to the right of the hotel not actually part of the hotel.
