I miss having Nelson cable compacted to Comcast now that I’ve moved. The service is very reliable for being in such a rural area and the pricing is fantastic for what you get. Now that I have Comcast they charge me for equipment I don’t have and there’s so many outages that you wouldn’t expect to have in a city. Then I’m on hold with customer service for hours. I had no idea how good I had it with Nelson cable

Our internet service has been fine but they do not answer the phone or respond to emails when you have a billing issue.

Fast internet. We may be in the middle of nowhere, however, my wife and I have no problems streaming or WFH.

Overall, my experience with Nelson Cable has been positive. We have fiber and the speeds are pretty fast, although sometimes less than the advertised 500mbps. We've had occasional blips in the service and 2 or 3 days with recurring or continuous outages. Considering that I use the internet 40+hrs per week, the relatively small down time we've experienced is acceptable. Set up cost and monthly bills are reasonable. There are several other carriers in some rural areas but I haven't heard great things about their reliability, speeds, or customer service.

Absolutely the WORST service you can imagine, internet is very slow no matter what, low data caps and dicey usage meters with data running out at my house WEEKS before my monthly allotment is up even when I was out of town almost one entire week! I watched no films, did no streaming, nothing, but here I am with the worst internet ever, constant interruptions in service, having to REPEATEDLY retry downloads because of service interruptions which just uses up more and more and more data than we are allowed to have, no way to buy more data no matter what, ridiculously high prices for terrible slow internet speed, indifferent service staff - and sometimes openly rude - and the MINUTE I can get away from this awful service I WILL BE OUT OF HERE. Do not believe anything this company says, if you have a choice DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Atrocious customer service, mediocre internet service. The homepage on their website says "We are here for you 24/7/365", which could not be more of a lie. Not only do they not work Saturdays or Sundays (or evening or early morning hours), even when you call at 10 am on a Monday, they still don't answer, and it goes to voicemail.Emails aren't returned properly. They say they're emailing me bills - I haven't seen one in my email in months (including in spam).So: if you don't use your internet/streaming services on the weekends, and don't need to ever see bills from this company, they're the ones for you.Otherwise, find another option (I can't wait for Firefly), ANY other option.

We haven’t had any TiVo since Friday. When you call they don’t know when they will restore service that I pay for and won’t give us any rebate for lack of service. Worst customer service ever!!!

Absolute worst internet service on planet earth.My kids are in virtual school due to covid, they get kicked offline 2-3 times a day. I call everyday and they don’t really help. They asked me to buy a new router because that would help.. we bought a new router.. that did not help. So they brought over a new modem and upgraded our service.. that did not help either. Our internet service is out at least 8 times a day.. it is just AWFUL.
