Dr. Leah and her staff are absolutely wonderful! Kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. Our 10 mo. old Frenchie had a rash and they (Maria) squeezed us in for a same day appointment (which was WONDERFUL) and took great care of us. I am very pleased with the service, pricing, and locations close to our home. I will be moving all of our pets over House Paws as their main vet. I would 100% recommend House Paws as a great vet choice for your dog(s). Thank you, Dr. Leah + staff!

We found a friendly kitty, sent my little sister to go check if the kitty is microchipped. She went in, she was greeted by an older woman that spoke unnecessarily aggressive towards her asking if she as an appointment, that she needs an appointment, what’s the cats name etc. She didn’t even let my little sister explain herself, that the cat isn’t ours and we’re simply checking for a microchip. They eventually checked the cat, no microchip was found so now to find the kitty a home! I know y’all are stressed but don’t take it out on a already shy kid.

Always great experience; the team is always concerned about Cleo, if we have any questions, and take their time to address any of our concerns!

THIS IS THE JIFFY LUBE OF VETS! I took my dog in to get his shots and this was the second time I had taken him the first visit was ok but the second visit they charged me for things I specifically said I did not need and for medication they had givin me the last time I was there the list she brought out and we discussed was not what I ended up getting charged for and they will not refund or do anything to make up for it a $100 visit turned into $400 without them showing me the final bill before charging my card.

Communication could use improvement, but I appreciate them taking the time to respond to my initial review and sort things out. My number one priority is my pet’s health. I know that they understand and value that, too.

The vet techs here are beyond wonderful and are the only reason my review earned 1+ star. Kind, understanding, and great communicators. Marie, on the other hand, has kept our dogs waiting on heartworm medicine for five months. When we first didn’t receive it ASAP (“it’s coming and I’ll mail it to you soon!”), I went to Chewy to order / had them request House Paws to confirm the prescription. House Paws never confirmed. Then they mailed it to just one of my dogs. Now we’re about to get a second pack, only now hearing that if the dog is off it for 2+ months, they need a heartworm test prior to re-starting medicine. Would’ve been good to know when you had mailed us the first box two months late. What’s most frustrating is we tried to rectify the poor organization ourselves, and House Paws was a roadblock in every avenue we tried to get our dogs medication.

Fantastic, responsible, compassionate. I love House Paws and am appreciative of all the support and care they provided my psychotic fuzzball of talons and terror.

This was the biggest mistake. I had the worst customer service and professionalism. Before I went to this vet I was quoted a price for a spay which I agreed to. I went for preblood work the week before and after the appointment I was presented a bill which I had expected. A vet tech brought me out another bill and said the amout for the spay would be another 400.00 dollars. This is not what we discussed and I refused to pay for the bill until I could discuss the new charges. She said no one was available but they still said Inhad to pay the bill. I said I wasn't paying until I could discuss the amount with someone. I left. 5.5 hours later someone finally followed up and called me. They said I had to pay the vet fee and that the vet threw my dogs blood away and refused to do the spay. I paid the 60.00 fee. When did it change that it is unreasonable to expect someone to explain a bill at the time services are rendered and the rest of expenses and the costs involved???? They said I made the vet tech cry and I was mean... I apologized if I hurt her feelings. This is the most unprofessional organization I have encountered in Loudoun County.

They have always been professional and caring, and took care of our dog like he was their own. We have moved to Texas and are going to miss them greatly!
