This vet is just amazing. They all have such great compassion for animals. Dr. Campbell has always been so helpful to us for our older dog. Their staff was wonderful in helping us to euthanize our beloved dog. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

This place is our go to vet! They are caring, very gentle with the animals, talk you through your options, talk to you in clear and understandable ways, always have same day availability for emergencies or we can get our animals scheduled in in just a few days. They are affordable and I couldn't imagine taking our ferrets elsewhere!

When I moved to Louisa I went to the Animal Medical Center and there was a great Vet who cared for animals. The staff was friendly and I felt they genuinely cared for animals. On my annual visit this time, they seemed to have been bought out or changed hands. The front office staff was different and not very friendly, The vet was not my old vet, but my baby got her shots and check up easily enough. The vet seemed ok. I was moving 7 hours away and this was my last check up at this office. I am one week into my new home and time for the auto ship of my dogs medications. We got hit with the arctic storm and I have over three feet of snow on my driveway. I cannot get out to mail any prescriptions. Chewy staff said they could take a prescription over the phone if the vet would call it in. I called the vet and they would not work with me on anything. They said they could mail me a prescription. Besides the fact that I have one I just can't get out of my house for what looks like a week, that doesn't work. They are not about animal care, they are about the business of seeing pets. It is just a business and they obviously do not care about your loved family member. The lady at the office said they would not work with me on this. So, there it is! They push vaccinations heavily also. I get the rabies and Lyme shots as I see these as important to my dog, but I don't feel the others are necessary for my pet. Other people have different circumstances and may need other vaccinations. I am not against vaccinations, just over vetting when it isn't necessary. Everyone has a different take on this including veternarians and everyone needs to make their own informed decisions. Meds make money and I believe some offices push more heavily than others.

My dog loves Dr. Campbell. They give the price before going forward. She doesn't push extra things like other places do. She is very caring and thorough. Friendly staff.

Went in to ask questions about a service and secretary was very short with her answers. Couldn't get an estimate for anything. I don't recommend them. You have to have base fees for services. Would it hurt to give a rough estimate? Not going back

I was glad to find out that they are now allowing 1 adult to accompany their pet inside as long as they wear a mask. I took my baby girl to get her rabies vaccination and have her nails trimmed. She was very anxious and nervous about being there. She met Sydney and suddenly everything was okay. Sydney gave her some comforting hugs while Connie gave her the rabies vaccination then trimmed her nails. Sydney didn't seem to mind my baby girl licking her ear during the hugging hold. Connie was great too, very friendly, informative and recommended a product to stop the bleeding in case I ever trim her nails too short at home. Thank you Ladies!

Our cat started breathing funny, we took him here, had x-rays done and we're unfortunately told the best course of action was euthanasia, they cared as much as we did, the lead vet actually cried a little with me, and weeks later we received a card in the mail signed by the entire medical staff, they truly care about the animals they treat, this is clearly not just a job to them, what a wonderful team of people.
