One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Ordered an item in February ---the delivery date seemed reasonable. This was the last item in a client's bathroom reno and only important because of the finish-color. The thing never came---Allied sent an email pushing-back the delivery date---then nothing. I had to continually reach out---they simply kept pushing the date. Finally when I sent a terse email they finally admitted the item would never arrive because it was not in stock. They provided a $15 inconvenience fee and cancelled the order. When they refunded me, they deducted the inconvenience fee! WHAT??? Guess they thought the inconvenience vanished once they were finally transparent ???? To make matters worse, (and laughable) their haughty rep Shoba tried to explain what an 'inconvenience fee' is and got it entirely wrong. Go elsewhere. This company and its reps still act as though we're mid Covid, and they're doing us a favor.

Really horrible experience with this company. Placed an order in February--the last piece of a client's bathroom reno. The delivery date was reasonable---but it was never met. Allied never kept me updated---I had to repeatedly reach out. The delivery date was pushed and pushed and pushed. Finally an 'inconvenience discount" was offered---of 15 dollars. The item was over $100.00. After nearly 4 months of waiting, I reached out and was finally told that the item was never going to arrive because it was NEVER in stock. To fulfill an order and string a customer along knowing an item is not available is the lowest of the low. They cancelled the order and refunded me---minus the inconvenience fee. REALLY????? So after a four month wait and a cancelled order the inconvenience suddenly disappeared????? To make matters worse, the rep was entirely unprofessional and had zero interest in customer service. They must not realize how small the design community is and how these tales travel. In this industry, the worst thing a vendor can do is not deliver as promised, and string a client along.

There are many businesses out there that have no idea what customer service means. Allied Brass is NOT one of them. My wife and I ordered an item from Allied Brass through a Big Box store. When I saw that the item wasn't moving via the FedEx tracking number I reached out to the Big Box store. The Big Box store representative was friendly but not helpful. I located the website for Allied Brass and through email explained that my wife really wanted this towel bar for our master bath remodel. Using only our address the Allied Brass representative wrote back and tracked down where the item was located. Fedex had picked it up but the trail went cold there. The Allied Brass representative said they would resend a new towel bar to us and I received it within a week. How do you spell impressive? Allied Brass. Super company to work with. Thanks Allied Brass for going above and beyond.
