A wonderful theater venue in the DMV! Only frustration is the lack of signage on campus, which made it hard to find the theater. Other than that, extremely cool space!

Disappointing, especially for $30/each. May be fine for a high schooler but very basic. More creativity is needed for the roles of the staff along the path.

Just watched Urinetown at the theater (building 3). Loved the play! Loved the intimate theater!!

Staff there is just phenomenal. Very helpful setting up an event for my family. The construction made things a teeny bit confusing as far as parking near the actual entrance, but they flexed well to accommodate.I would love to go back and explore the facility more.

Very happy to hear and share that Bunnyman Brewery plans to expand to this location. Bunnyman Brewery was started by one of our finest - a retired firefighter! He and his Bunnyman Team have done great things for the Burke and surrounding communities. Can’t wait to see and taste them at the Workhouse Arts Center. Let Free Markets Ring!!

This has been a great addition to FFX county. I would suggest to place some of the donations towards the improvement of lighting as it is really dark during the night events.

Do NOT expect this haunt to be anything remotely similar to Markoffs or Paxton Manor. This haunt was done by teenagers in costumes from Spirit Halloween store. There is NO scare and saw maybe 20 actors throughout the WHOLE haunt which was on a Saturday at 9pm.Don’t waste your money! Donate to the arts but do NOT attend this attraction!

This review is specifically for this year's Haunt. Not the facility or any of its features which are all great. I haven't even left the place after finishing the Haunt but I'm compelled to leave a review because it was THAT bad. Everything leading up to it is great. Good vibes, great beer thanks to Bunnyman Brewing. Starting the Haunt though, I instantly regretted it. The first two or three kids you'll encounter aren't even in costume. They just hurl second-rate insults...everything from how ridiculous we were dressed, to how cool we must think we are. I mean, when a Haunt starts off like that, it can't get worse right? No. It was so bad. The website promises some immersive experience but it was nothing more than a backyard s***t show. Next year, just don't even bother. And anyone considering this as a Haunt, save your time and money.

This review is specifically for the Workhouse Haunt (2022). I hate leaving negative reviews but this honestly was an unfair experience and we wasted $60+ on it. Please save your money. There were zero scares. They had a theme but barely anything along the trail applied to it. Maybe 6 actors on the entire trail and they didn't try to scare us at all. Mostly they were concerned with keeping us on the correct trail. Low production quality, very few props, no use of sound effects, no chainsaws or people following/chasing, literally not even a child would be scared. People in our group were just talking about their day because there was nothing better to do. We basically walked along for 15 mins on a trail lit by Christmas lights. I thought it was a joke when it was over. I really wish I could get a refund because this was the worst haunt I've been to in the last 5 years...One star for Bunnyman Brewing being there because they were excellent.

This feels like a well kept secret, since I could freely browse many galleries to myself on a Sunday afternoon with little to no competition for foot traffic or viewing angles in galleries and studios, unlike what may happen at a downtown location like Torpedo Arts Factory on a Sunday. The structure seems confusing and closed off at first. No entrances available directly from parking lots other than walkways between buildings to the inner courtyard, where covered walkways and porticos with sandwich boards and little lit open signs in windows invite you to step inside and explore more. There is an organization to it all- by building numbers labeled on white squares with black numbers seen across from the courtyard and on each studio door, but on a first visit, give yourself 1-2hrs to simply explore. I actually came twice in the same weekend. First for a Saturday evening free concert with the Los Teximaniacs under the tent and on the lawn of the courtyard, and then the next day to browse the open galleries and Lucy Burns Museum, which also happened to be another music event for an acoustic duo that was ticketed and happening above one of the larger galleries. It's an easy place to be on a rainy day, wandering in and out of studios for visual sparks and wonderment. It feels embracing of all art levels with a combination of professionals, hobbiests, and students taking classes. A delight to explore!
