Prompt and professional service. This isn't our usual pharmacy but we had to get something filled here because our other pharmacy didn't carry it. The pharmacist was very thorough explaining the different nuances of the medication and made sure we had syringe (since it was child's medic). We didn't have to wait very long at all either.

The staff routinely leave early (and not just 10 minutes or so, we're talking like 45 minutes early on a Sunday), don't answer the phone, don't fill out even look at your prescription on time...
Someone else compared this place to the DMV and it's so true. I only go here because it's close to my house.
If you are forced to go here, call ahead to confirm they've actually looked at your prescription to save yourself some time and frustration.

They wouldn't pick up the phone. I was trying to verify that my doctor sent a prescription there. When I got there,it wasn't there, and the doctors office was closed, for a holiday weekend.

The old lady who has trouble understanding my son’s simple name every time is very rude. I try being nice to the pharmacists because I know how they are but the meds are never ready when they say. She’s chuckled at my son’s name before and today she answered the phone, all I wanted to ask was if there was anymore refills left. She rudely said no that I needed to tell the doc, in a tone like I was stupid then she hung up.

Man, I found a place that’s worse than the DMV. The clerks are rude, and just look like they hate life. The gentleman I delt with seemed like he was taking more pills than he was dispensing. The last two times I have been there the prescriptions were not ready, even though they sent a text saying they were. They also did not ask for any kind of identification. Not even the birthday of the patient. I could have picked up anyone’s prescription as long as I knew their name. I am stuck using this store due to my insurance limitations, but for those who aren’t… go somewhere else for your sake.

im sad because this is the closest grocery store to my house but every time i go i purchase expired items. why are they on the shelf? please don't ask me to check expiration dates because no one does that except for maybe milk. im not going to check every item i purchase to make sure it's not expired that's not my job, i've never had to do that at any other store. also i don't mean expired by a couple of days i mean expired by WEEKS. i purchased my kids treats and they expired in JUNE :( i purchased in september. it seriously makes me so so sick

Grocery store closest to us. They are always helpful to me and my kids. They are always willing to help if I can't reach something because of the chair and the kids aren't close by. Never had a problem here.

I have been extremely disappointed with my neighborhood Giant. Although I have complained twice in writing to corporate and several times to managers at the store, I have never received a reply. Accordingly, I will do the next best thing and warn their customers. In my humble opinion, Giant inflates their wine prices so that they can then substantially discount those prices, sometimes as much as half off. Case in point, I bought two bottles of wine at Wegman's last week for $ 8.99 each, regular price. At Giant that same day, the "regular" price for each wine was $ 16.99 and the "sale" price was $ 8.99. This has happened over and over again at Giant. Beware of the prices so you are not duped. Use an app called Vivino which will star-rate wines and give you average retail prices. Buyer beware. Had Giant personnel replied to my original complaint a year ago, this Yelp review would never have materialized. Shop Wegman's or Costco for wine.

Please keep your prescriptions at CVS, Rite Aid or even try My Neighborhood Pharmacy in Burke. Your body and mind deserve the best customer service and for the pharmacist to REALLY be a professional. My Giant Pharmacy experience today was dismal. The pharmacist refused to talk with me after I waited about 15 minutes and he helped the woman in front of me for that time. I was the only one there when I went back after shopping for about 15 minutes and I asked to speak to him once again. He said he was stressed. He sent another person over who was a young adult. (new, 3 weeks of employment there and I said I would really like to speak with the pharmacist...again). Pharmacist did not acknowledge my requests or my presence.I switched to Giant because I shop there all the time. (The employees in the grocery store are fabulous!).... but convenience does not equal the best quality and customer service in the pharmacy department. Giant pharmacy makes Giant mistakes and being a "professional" pharmacist is low on the list apparently. Karl and Zainab were great though.

The pharmacy is lacking in the customer service department. They either don’t occur their phone. Or the wrong number is listed on google. Neither is acceptable when you’re working in healthcare.
