Dex, Nick, and Carlos helped me with my 1 bedroom apartment move. They were so professional, friendly, and most important efficient and knowledgeable about moving! I will definitely be using Gentle Giant again in the future. Best out there! AND they came in under the estimate, which was a nice plus.

I had an excellent experience with Gentile Giant Moving Company and I will be booking them again for a second move in a few months. Andrew was the salesperson I spoke with on the phone. He answered all of my questions and made the booking process quick and smooth. He was also very funny! Dex and Dakari were my movers and they arrived early and they were extremely efficient at wrapping my furniture, loading and unloading the truck, and packing my belongings in a storage unit in a space-efficient manner. They were also very personable and easy-going. The entire process took about 2 hours less than I anticipated and thus my total bill was even lower than the already below-market estimate. I highly recommend this company!

Dex, Gabriel D, Gabriel C, and Cristian conducted our move and we could not recommend them more! They were extremely gentle and cautious with our belongings — which had to be moved out of an extremely tight space in a walk up in DC — and did so in record time. They were very communicative with us about where things needed to be moved, professional, and extremely friendly throughout the whole process. I highly recommend using Gentle Giant and asking for Dex and this crew!!

Just completed a move with Gentle Giant - it was a complicated move with two drop off locations. The crew (Dex, Leonard, Ricardo, and Dakarai) were fantastic. They were efficient, worked well as a team, extremely professional, and handled all items with care. It was clear that they were all experienced movers and knew how to handle/maneuver large furniture. It was also clear that the team respected the time/costs associated with a move and did not waste time, stand around, or goof off in any way. Highly recommend this company and location!

Just completed a move with Gentle Giant (Lorton location) and had a great experience. The crew - Dex, Leonard, Ricardo, and Dakarai - showed up on time, conducted a quick walkthrough of the furniture and boxes that needed to be moved and got right to work. It was a complicated move (going from 1 townhouse to multiple apartments) and the guys handled it really well. They quickly discussed and figured out how they wanted to load the truck to make the second half of the move as efficient as possible and then they got to work. It was clear that they worked well as a team, super professional, polite, and hustled through the entire move. That said, it was clear that they were comfortable with one another and had positive attitudes. (I have had experience with other companies where half the crew would slack off or start talking, but Gentle Giant was all business). They made a very stressful move a little less so. Gentle Giant does cost a little more than some of the other companies in the region, but the price difference wasn't huge. You definitely get the service you pay for and this was a solid reminder of that. The crew seems to be treated well and I think it is telling when several of the guys told us they had worked at the company for several years. I would highly recommend Gentle Giant.

I had a great experience with Gentle Giant and the team who moved me - Zach, Andre and Eric. The guys were on time, professional and great to work with. I was especially impressed with how they handled parking on Capitol Hill! About a quarter of my stuff was going to storage at Gentle Giant and the guys were great at clarifying. They took such pains to wrap Every. Single. Thing. They went above and beyond to get my W/D out with my narrow doors!!I highly recommend using Gentle Giant - especially if you need storage too. We have moved so many times due to my husband’s career, and hands down, Gentle Giant Moving Company is by far the best! We had such a pleasant experience from beginning to end. They are very transparent from the beginning about cost and time. Andrew was extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions. In fact, he even encouraged me to shop around to make sure I felt confident in my choice. They are full service and can do the packing if you choose but I did my own. On the day of the move, the movers arrived within expected time, did the loading and unloading swiftly. They set up the bed and put all my boxes and furniture as I labeled them. Before leaving, they clearly explained my bill and what to expect for the final charge. It has been a few days and I have to say, none of my packed things were damaged/broken and all the furniture is fine. Thank you guys! Truly appreciated your professionalism and for being extremely well mannered. It really helped during a stressful time.

These guys are absolutely top-notch. The experience was great from start to finish, all the way from our initial inquiry and booking with Rachael up until the very last (empty) box left the house. Every single person we interacted with was polite, professional, and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was done the way we wanted it and that our possessions were well taken care of. I was apprehensive due to a less than perfect experience with a previous moving company, but my worries were quickly resolved when I saw how good these guys are at what they do. Shoutout to Orion, Shane, Liam, Brandon, Will, Noah and Sean- you guys are the real MVPs.

Sam, Marcus and Ryan moved me today and they were phenomenal: polite, careful and so fast! I’m on a tight budget but decided to go with GG, despite being a higher quote, because I knew they’d get the job done and they didn’t disappoint. Just can’t say enough good things about this company. This is the second time I’ve used GG and both times were head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you so much guys!
