I used Fairfax Transfer and Storage to move from my apartment to my first home, and I can definitely say that I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work. Juan, Wualter, and Wuillian G were extremely friendly and professional, and made sure all of my belongings made it to my new home undamaged. They even helped me pack alot of things that I was not able to do myself which was a huge help! If I ever find myself moving again they will be the first people I call for!

We booked Fairfax Transfer to pack and move our family. On the first day, Juan and his team (William, Walter, Melvin, and Fernando) did a great job packing. They were respectful, professional, and super efficient. On the second day, Juan, William, Walter, and Fernando came back with David and Dawson for the move. They were a fantastic group. They handled all of our furniture and items with care and attention. They also took steps to protect our new house (eg covering the floors, wrapping corners, etc.). These guys went above and beyond to make our move smooth and positive.

Phenomenal service! The team (Juan, Walter, William, and Dawson) packed a 2/1, 1300 square foot place in just about 3.5 hours. Incredibly quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

Fairfax Transfer is the absolute best. I work in real estate with Compass and always recommend them to everyone. I just used them for my second personal move and was so happy to have Juan managing the move once again. Wuillian, Wualter, and Melvin were horses when it came to the heavy lifting. I have moved several times over the past 10 years and today was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. Juan, William G, Xhulio and Fernando were amazing! They were on time, extremely professional, and most importantly, they handled my belongings with care. Not a single item was damaged and my walls don’t have a single scratch. After paying almost $900, I had to edit my review because since moving into my new home I was missing a few important household items (left at my previous apt pictured) most notably kitchen utensils, cutting mats, measuring cups, and baking tray(s). In addition, they only put together my bed (which is broken) and bar cart and left the tvs on the floor despite them being mounted previously.

Giving three stars because the representative I spoke with, Scott was very professional and sent me a certificate of insurance, and was pleasant and very responsive. However….In order to maximize their profit, they don’t really seem to prioritize smaller moves. in fact what they kept calling it was a coupon move. Which basically tells you how they view your smaller move. Then he said well it should only take three hours at $420. Then he said maybe it would take four hours. I literally only have two couches, two bookcases, one table and one dresser to move. We’re only going 1 mile down the street there’s absolutely no reason this can’t be done in two hours. I almost started to get the impression that they were trying to up the hours to make up for lost revenue. then he told me that the bigger moves are done at the beginning of the day so I would have to wait for a one to 4 PM time frame for their arrival. Even though they currently don’t have anybody booked the morning of my move. Consistently, they told me I was a coupon move. Well, there’s nothing coupon about their price. So I guess they would rather not have my business at all, I think it’s a really stupid way to do business but there you go…

Javier, Armando, and Carlos were absolutely wonderful. Very professional and kind, and very gentle with our many delicate antiques and collectibles. Will definitely call them next time I move. Thanks guys!
