John Kinter is the CONSUMMATE professional! I've been a client for close to 10 years, and he's never failed to impress. Called him at 0830 after "failing" a parking brake check while undergoing a State safety inspection. John is very thorough, professional, honest, and straight forward. We bring our Discovery in for all required Land Rover maintenance as scheduled by the manufacturer. In the past we used our local Land Rover dealerships since the vehicle was under full warranty. This time we brought my 2018 Land Rover Discovery in for it’s 4 year/ 45K+ mile service. John discovered numerous areas where the local Land Rover dealerships either did not do the require maintenance or did short cuts using non-OEM parts. He provided video and pictures of the issues as he found them. In one case the rear differential case oil plug was about to fall out and numerous pieces of metal were discovered in the oil indicating the fluid had never been replaced, even though Land Rover stated it had at least three times before (the latest about 3 months before during a rear differential replacement). A month later I brought the vehicle back to him for a complete front and rear brake replacement which were due. During this visit he discovered the dealership did not use OEM rotors which were replaced during a recall repair even though the dealer stated they were Land Rover rotors shipped from the UK.Every service and repair was professionally completed in a timely manner at a fair price. John has earned my repeat business and I highly recommend him and his team.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

John at Euro Sport is a top notch technician and an honest broker. I trusted him to put some striping on my wife's new Mini and to work on some mechanical issue on my 2006 Jeep Commander. He specializes in Land Rovers. If you have a Rover, you should see John at Euro Sport!

Unfortunately, my most recent experience with John was extremely unpleasant. I have taken my Land Rover to him for servicing several times over the years, but not on a regular basis mostly because he's a bit of a challenge to get a hold of and his response time and follow-through is not consistently reliable. When he's on point, he's OK, but when he's not, he's very frustrating to work with, so I've often had to go elsewhere. In November, I contacted him about an issue that I felt he would be able to diagnose and repair. He looked at the car and was certain what needed to be done. I knew this was going to be a large, very expensive repair, but I trusted him and was willing to put up with the other challenges that go along with working with him. As in the past, I found myself having to chase him for status reports, but nevertheless, he was certain he fixed the problem and was paid in full immediately. The repair proved to be unsuccessful. I made multiple attempts to contact him, but again, he would only respond intermittently and with an attitude. Like any consumer, I went for a second opinion and they found issues with his repairs, contacted him and he acknowledged something had been missed on his end. After much back and forthing, the vehicle was brought back to him to correct. I am writing this today because the issue is still unresolved. I texted and called him multiple times, with my last message informing him I would be stopping by his shop since I had not received a response. I arrived this morning and he was very rude and totally disrespectful. He used vulgar language and expressed he was "p****sed" I took it to another shop to be evaluated, and made multiple wacky accusations. I told him I made many attempts to contact him, and he said he didn't receive any of my message. When I informed him I had record of all my attempts, he then said he had a new phone number. Because of his hostility towards me and complete unprofessional histrionic behavior, I felt very uncomfortable and left.

I would have John check out your Land Rover before ever going to a dealer for service.
