I hope I can save someone else with my review. The shop quoted a price of $1k labor plus parts to fix my tacoma manual transmission. Once they had it removed, they decided it didn't need any parts and there was a bolt that needed to be tightened and clutch replaced. I got the call and to my surprise the total would be $2,000. I asked for the model number on the clutch and saw it was only $350 with flywheel and throwout bearing. They said there was an additional $400 charge for "fix the problem fee" and clutch would be $600. Shady fees check, overcharging for parts check, had my truck for 3 months. Okay so this was bad, but I thought I'll have a working truck at the end.I get the truck back and immediately it's popping out of gears and the exhaust is suddenly very loud. I realize the exhaust isn't connected properly. I call the shop and they say "Oh both of those things are unrelated" How is a shifting problem unrelated?Basically they won't fix it without charging me again.Now I'm stuck with a probably bent shift fork or bad syncros and I'm out nearly $2,000.Please don't believe the low price you hear in the beginning you will pay much more and pray you don't need any warranty work because they will not do it.Service: Transmission
