Have been spending over a thousand dollars a month here for years and I will not darken their door again. Rude manager was mad because we had a huge cart of groceries and that would not fit in the self check out areas. They are too small! She and two other people were fretting over some stupid impulse aisle while we waited, then she rudely said "I guess I get to do it!" She can take this sloppy dump with it's damaged, rotten merchandise, incompetent employees, self check out and receipt gestapo and cram it. The health inspector can deal with those rotten, moldy carrots and green potatoes they keep piling up on the shelves when someone gets sick.

I am visiting Rockbridge County for the weekend in mid-December and am scheduled to meet a friend for lunch today. Sadly, I am challenged as to knowing what to procure as a token gift, so I decided to stop in the Lexington, VA Walmart to purchase a flower arrangement or something like that. Upon my arrival at 930 AM or so on a Saturday, the parking lot was about 40% full, and the spots were adequate in size for my Tundra. I was surprised by the number of people of various ages entering with me who had to get the last puff of their cigarettes prior to opening. I suppose that the size and layout is that of a typical Walmart, however I was impressed by the spaciousness of the store. At least to my perception, there was definitely a sufficient number of employees which unfortunately seems atypical these days as there are people who would prefer to stay at home and receive government subsidiaries. Regardless, each one I encountered were pleasant and helpful, actually made eye contact, and did not appear miserable. The floral arrangements seemed limp, however people are probably gearing up for yuletide purchases this time of year rather than buying fresh flower arrangements. I ended up getting 2 amaryllis bulbs, one for my friend Margaret, and one for me. I gave 4 star not because anything was bad, but it's a Walmart after all, cans everything can't be 5 star, right? They had what I needed for a reasonable price and I had a pleasant shopping experience, so there you go!

Most rudest employees I have ever came across in a Walmart store. Never answer the phone, much less offer help when your in the store. I am calling now and the phone has rang for 6 mins. The shelves are never stocked and the employees will duck into a different isle to avoid helping you.

Walmart has turned into a circus. The customer service is out the door and moving toward self checkout completely. What a joke! Spent $70 and asked for some $1 so my daughter could have some money for school. Nope can't do that sir. I asked why. Not allowed change shortage. Ok

No one answers the phone. Tried the actual department and nothing as well as the customer service desk and nothing. Tried 4 times and gave up.

I just did grocery pickup. They were prompt and did a perfect job on my order! (And I'm picky!)

Pharmacist is awesome. Always fair price for Rx. They may not have all of the fancy options, contrast to Target, but their prices are highly competitive. For food, this location does compete against Lidl, right next door, yet both are fairly priced.

Never ever utilize their online pickup! either you sit for 5 hours or they tell you they can't find your order in their system. Meanwhile you call CS and they say the store is lying. but don't worry somehow their system still charges your CC.

No Covid restrictions at all, several employees not wearing masks and a lot of customers without masks also. Nothing was enforced.

This is one of the most incompetent Walmart's I've ever been too. Somebody don't know how to calculate their finances correctly so they're going to audit & refuses to refund you what you've brought there with receipt. Their customer service is trash. Learn your Math Facts before you start dealing with peoples money.
