I would highly recommend the Grace House if you are visiting Lexington. The house and the rooms are beautiful and the service was incredible, particularly the breakfast. Rob is a fantastic host and cook.
The house is located just a few blocks from downtown Lexington so it is an easy walk. But Grace House also just far enough away from the downtown area that it is quiet and pleasant environment.
I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend for my 50th reunion at Washington and Lee University. The room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfasts each morning at 8:30 AM were excellent. Rob and Cherly Hughes were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend Grace House.

Nearby activities: Close to downtown Lexington, VA
Walkability: Walking distance to downtown Lexington.

I would highly recommend the Grace House if you are visiting Lexington. I recently went to VMI for my 20 year reunion and stayed in the master suite. The house is withing in walking distance of downtown as well as VMI and W&L. The hosts are great! The master suite is beautiful and spacious and there is ample room throughout the house so you don't feel like you are on top of the other guests. I anticipate that I will be staying there in future visits to Lexington VA.

Such a beautiful home! Cheryl and Rob are wonderful people with wonderful attention to detail of how to give the guests a calm and high class stay. This is not a hotel! Imagine yourself staying at your loving Auntie's home with all the amenities and modern baths. This home is just a couple of blocks walk from old town Lexington. Very convenient!

The Grace House is the most beautiful B and B we have ever stayed in. We needed to go to Lexington for the VMI graduation but our family decided that we would go to Lexington again just to stay at Grace House. Such an elegant and restful place with the most perfect owners and hosts. Absolutely lovely!

Thank you, Rob and Cheryl for opening your home to us. This place is fantastic and such an attention to detail. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We spent many afternoons on the upstairs porch, it was so relaxing. Rob and Cheryl are great people and the perfect hosts. We can't say enough wonderful things about Grace House and the hosts, Cheryl and Rob! We stayed at Grace House to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was so lovely. The home is exquisite and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and it was such a pleasure to chat with the hosts.

My husband and I just returned from a short getaway weekend staying at Grace House. The hosts were wonderful - so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge. We felt right at home in this gorgeous place. Everything was spot-on with nothing overlooked. Breakfast was a delicious start to our day, and they even offered seconds! I’m sorry we had to leave so soon - we heard we were missing out on the waffles the next morning. I guess that means we will have to return. Do stay if you’re in the area. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
