I tried to make appointment 3 times and woman pretended that she didn't hear me. She then put the phone on busy. I have been there as a child and then a teenager and in my twenties. I had taken my daughter for hair coloring and trim 12 months ago with no problems. I was trying to get her hair done again.

I recently moved to Lexington and was looking for a salon. In the News Gazette I saw an ad for a new stylist at George's Hairstylist, Tina. I made an appointment for a permanent and cut and was more than pleased with the results. I have been getting perms since the 1980's and this was the best permanent I've ever had.

Friendly people but my perm was burnt. I tipped out of decency. I won’t shame the stylist but do hope the owner teachers her more about double processed hair and double wrapping the ends. Never put an alkaline perm on bleached hair. I look like Encinoman with Ramon noodle hair.

I've been going to George's since I was 11 (I'm 23 now) and have always have the best experience. Prices are reasonable and the whole staff is pleasant and friendly. I've never left unhappy.
