“This is a first-rate Walmart store. My beloved bride gets her prescriptions here. I sure wish I could do the same.. Instead, I'm stuck with the local CVS. Ughhh.”

“I am visiting Rockbridge County for the weekend in mid-December and am scheduled to meet a friend for lunch today. Sadly, I am challenged as to knowing what to procure as a token gift, so I decided to stop in the Lexington, VA Walmart to purchase a flower arrangement or something like that. Upon my arrival at 930 AM or so on a Saturday, the parking lot was about 40% full, and the spots were adequate in size for my Tundra. I was surprised by the number of people of various ages entering with me who had to get the last puff of their cigarettes prior to opening. I suppose that the size and layout is that of a typical Walmart, however I was impressed by the spaciousness of the store. At least to my perception, there was definitely a sufficient number of employees which unfortunately seems atypical these days as there are people who would prefer to stay at home and receive government subsidiaries. Regardless, each one I encountered were pleasant and helpful, actually made eye contact, and did not appear miserable. The floral arrangements seemed limp, however people are probably gearing up for yuletide purchases this time of year rather than buying fresh flower arrangements. I ended up getting 2 amaryllis bulbs, one for my friend Margaret, and one for me. I gave 4 star not because anything was bad, but it's a Walmart after all, cans everything can't be 5 star, right? They had what I needed for a reasonable price and I had a pleasant shopping experience, so there you go!”
