This place brought out so much excitement in two 33 year olds; it's not just for kids! We were inspired by the whimsical and artistic nature of the whole place. We wandered for an hour or so and loved every bit of it.

Boxerwood is such a beautiful peaceful place. Full of wildlife. Quiet for meditation. Take a blanket and picnic and spend the day!
Open 365 dawn to dusk, Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden is a 15-acre arboretum featuring both native and unusual plant specimens, located near Lexington in Rockbridge County, Virginia, United States in the Shenandoah Valley. Open daily dawn til dusk, no entry fee. There is no water filling station on site.
