First off, this is Farmers Co-op and their pace is a little slower than some big box store, but then even those have some of the same issues if you are not there during normal working hours. The people at the Co-op I've found to be very helpful when you engage with them. The hardware is spread out in different sections that sometime require the assistance of someone who knows the store and again, every time I have ask, someone has taken the time to walk me to the item I'm searching for. I had a big wood shop tool delivered to the Co-op on an 18 wheeler that could not access my mountain property and one of the wear house guys used a fork truck to transfer the machine to my vehicle no questions asked. I doubt you would get that kind of help at a big box store.
