Had an appointment for 3pm, they acted surprised when I showed up. Completely unprofessional managers and team at this branch. Poor experience compared to other WF branches.

Terrible service. Went in for a simple name change and they acted as if they were too busy and that I needed an appointment. Everyone’s attitude was nasty and the bank was rundown. Moving every penny out.

Wells Fargo deserves 0 stars. My recommendation is not to bank or consider banking with them ever. From systems that don't function properly to customer service that is unable to resolve issues...you have been warned. Don't make the mistake I did thinking that automatic payments would actually work and that you wouldn't have to deal with Customer Service./begin sarcasm - Oh, but they can certainly waive (one-time only as a generous courtesy) $50 out of the ~$250 in fees they charged you when their automatic payment system doesn't function. Did I forget to mention they can send you a form via regular mail to update your automatic electronic payment information... because...oh wait their automatic payment system is great!!! /end sarcasm

I like the way it is a warm bank, but they process you efficiently. C. Terry is the best banker!

Just stay out of this bank. It has poor business practices and employees that are unqualified to assist customers with basic needs. Today, I went to inquire about getting my son who is about to go off to college, a credit card. I have 2 accounts at Wells Fargo and my son has one account in his name. I have an exemplary credit score, over 800. The employee who was assisting us said Wells Fargo no longer issues credit cards to people like my son. I was bewildered and confused by her statement. I explained that I wanted him to start building credit and also wanted him to have a credit card for emergency purposes if he needed. I asked if I could get a credit card and he could be an authorized user on the card to build his credit in that manner. She said, you cannot do that with a Wells Fargo credit card. What??? Not wanting to waste anymore of my time with this obviously incompetent employee, my son and I left and went to our credit union where we received a credit card application upon request. Imagine that!!! Please everyone.... go to your credit union. If you don't have a credit union, I urge you to join one. The teller at the credit union completely understood what I was wanting to do and helped my achieve it. I cannot believe I walked out of a Wells Fargo bank (Catoctin Cirlce, Leesburg, VA) empty handed! This was a gross example of an epic business failure. To make it even more laughable, the Wells Fargo employee told me to put my son on my Target credit card to build his credit. I don't even have a Target credit card. She just pulled that suggestion from her own life, I'm assuming. Wells Fargo-- Catoctin Circle, Leesburg VA=== EPIC FAILURE. Incompetent employees.

Ha! You can't even move money between your own accounts when you go to the branch in person. I made a CASH payment on my line of credit account yesterday, and went to this branch today to move $350 to the credit card account. I was told that was impossible, because there is a 24 hour hold on all payment credits until the payments "cleared." It was a CASH payment - there is nothing to "clear." That is the whole point of making CASH payments! I was told they were sorry, but there is nothing they can do. I called the 800-946-2626 to check my account at 0800 this morning, and it clearly reflected that the CASH payment was made yesterday and there was more than enough money in the account to make the transfer. See my Google review of this miserable bank for additional detail. The stupidity of Wells Fargo from the top down is beyond belief. If there was a Stupid Olympics, Wells would take the gold in every event.

Wells Fargo makes it extremely difficult to access and move my money around. Looking for née banks that are more accommodating, ASAP. For example, unable to online transfer certain amounts between my own accounts! I cannot move my own money online, and need to go to a branch location, where I have to sit and wait for "approval". Ridiculous! They lock down your money.

Amazing how responsive and professional the service providers in this bank repeatedly prove! Five stars in three different categories: (1.) Small Business Owner (2.) Home Owner - Mortgage (3.) Automobile Loans. In 2010, I started a small business with some colleagues; it's a C corporation serving the space industry. We used a local bank for ten years and were ready for a nationwide bank. This summer, I walked into a local branch unannounced, just to scope out their services. As soon as I poked my head in the door, I was greeted warmly, provided with all the information I needed to make the decision The small business expert was exceptionally savvy about how to meet our needs. There was no pressure and no distractions of coffee machines or free wi-fi, though they were both inconspicuously available. It was easy to re-engage and we are now enjoying Wells-Fargo services across the country. The mortgage was the best rate and terms offered by five different providers, as was the auto loan. They are masters at service in the banking and financial industry. So far, it's five stars every time!

So, I had to deposit my paycheck into a local bank because my credit union in OH ceased all shared banking. I had no clue until I tried to deposit check into a shared branches ATM ( the last service remaining). I had come to this branch on a whim the day before I confirmed that all shared ops had ceased. By luck or divine guidance. Anyway, I walked in and was greeted by Mr. C. Terry an Assistant VP. He normally handles clients with larger portfolios but he happily set me up with a checking account/ debit card. Understand that this was going to be my secondary account. Well the next day I came in and had to deposit my entire paycheck because it became primary in an instant. I had bills to pay and I needed that money! There was 9 day hold placed on the check with only 200 released. C. Terry and the Manager work to release a bit more at my request so I can pay my bills. I live in the DMV and even with the basics I live check to check. One car repair and one medical bill way from... you know. So Wells Fargo has a reputation but if this branch is representative of how they hope to operate then I'll be a customer until they stop! Go see Mr. C Terry over at 30 A Catoctin Circle Se in Leesburg VA.

Beware! Bad customer service from start to finish. It's taken almost 3 months to change a NAME on a account here. No one knows what they're doing, which forms to fill out, or how to help us with anything. They can't even make a simple fax on your behalf. Don't bother trying to get any of the bankers to help either, because they're never in. Who goes to lunch at 3pm? But don't go at 10am either, they're most likely leaving for lunch then, too. Cannot wait to leave this bank.

I had a time sensitive issue to solve while on the road, so I stopped into this branch. I was treated very rudely by the branch manager, who swore they couldn't solve my problem. One phone call to my local branch - Warrenton - and problem solved in five minutes. Thanks for nothing, Leesburg branch!
