I made an appt to potentially have surgery to remove my tomsils and my appt lasted less that 5 mins. When the nursing assistant came to bring me into the exam room she asked me a few standard questions. When she asked me if all my vaccines where up to date and I made a small joke. It's how I deal with stress and anxiety. It was in no way inappropriate. This lady then looks down her nose at me and with the most nastiest Karen tone told me that she didn't have time for my jokes and she wasnt going to answer any of my questions, she wont be entertaining any of my questions. I was appalled, didnt know what to say, but after she walked out on me and I processed what she just said, then I found the words. She had no compassion for her patient and left me feeling shamed and I felt like she stripped me any remaining dignity, like I did something wrong. This is not how you treat people who are coming to you for treatment. I am putting my life in their hands by being put under for surgery. Everyone else who I interacted prior to my appt was very nice but the old adage.. One bad apple spoils the bunch. I won't be back and I won't be recommending this practice to anyone. I spoke with Jeff and NO ONE bothered to apologize for my experience. All he wanted was for me to stay and be seen. Seemed like they are more worried about money than the patients. It's sad and I hope they change their ways. When did this woman lose her humanity? When and what happened that caused this woman to be so angry and patronizing and treat patience as ID number instead of a human being? Time to retire.

VA Head and Neck has an friendly and dedicated staff of service providers who provide excellent care. Their administrative team helped me understand billing and insurance operations. Their staff followed up my questions and quickly resolved my concerns.

I visited Dr Silva, an ENT doctor, and I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Dr Silva provided a thorough examination, explained my medical condition in easy-to-understand terms, and recommended a treatment plan tailored to my needs. He was always available to answer my questions, and his communication was prompt and clear. I would highly recommend Dr Silva to anyone seeking an ENT doctor.

A very positive experience from making my appointment arriving at the office and having a minor procedure. Dr Fox has a great bedside manner.

The doctors (yes, multiple. One of my daughters ear tubes did not take and we did not find out until we showed up for the replacement procedure that it would be performed by another doctor that we had never met) are great and have wonderful bedside manner/care, but we will not be returning (although they cancel/change our appointments all the time, so we couldn't if we wanted to!). The office staff is disorganized, has no follow through, and does not communicate important and necessary information.

I had a wonderful experience with Ambrosia Santana, PA. She was very thorough and took her time to listen to my concerns and very clearly explained my treatment options and plan. I felt like she really cared about how I was feeling. The ladies at the front desk were great too. I was very impressed with this ENT practice!

Horrible experience. Dingy, dirty and dark office space. Rude, unprofessional front office staff.Showed up for an appointment ahead of time and was completely forgotten about and never received acknowledgment from anyone that I had been made to wait for over an hour beyond my appointment time because they screwed up!By the time I was seen, the Dr. (understandably) had no time to dedicate to my visit and rushed through the eval to get me out of there. Then the doc asked to have me scheduled in 3-4 weeks for follow up and they scheduled me 6 weeks out and I was rudely told to call in whenever I can to check and see if there were cancellations to get a sooner time. Unacceptable. Rude. I would not refer anyone to go there.

When you see a doctor, they are friendly. Today, we never got to see a doctor. We waited almost 45 minutes and eventually left. Waiting room was so crowded, there were not enough chairs forcing elderly patients to stand. After 30 minutes, we checked with receptionist and were told we were next. After 40+ minutes, I told the receptionist we were leaving. It is tough to stand that long and we are young! She said “that’s fine”, barely looking up. Never an apology. We won’t be back.

I have seen Dr. Alexander and Dr. Silva. Both of them, and everyone else in their office, have been excellent to work with. They are very professional, down-to-earth, and I feel like they genuinely care about their patients.I am seeing Dr. Alexander for hearing loss and severe tinnitus. He is a very good listener and was very accommodating in helping me find the right hearing aids (my first) for my needs; I really appreciate being able to trial different versions.I went to Dr. Silva for surgery to address a portion of my obstructive sleep apnea. He has been very thoughtful and supportive, helping me to explore other possible causes of my sleep issues and tinnitus. Dr. Silva also removed my youngest daughters tonsils.I highly recommend Virginia Head & Neck Surgeons for you and your family.

While the care was competent the office staff and insurance billers were terrible. My insurance company told me the same as they tried to help them charge the correct code multiple times (that would have been covered) and they instead just kept billing me. Eventually they just sent it to collections, which is how they avoided the whole situation since I was forced to pay. I'm sure they preferred the over $400 cash from me versus what the insurance company has contracted. Avoid if you want fair administration.

After years and many visits with another ENT office, I was left feeling completely hopeless with my symptoms. A good friend recommended this office and I am so glad I did! It did take some time to get an appointment but I can only assume because they are so popular. The PA I saw took her time and had great ideas for what was going on and potential treatment plans. She asked me to call and give an update in a few weeks to see if we needed to change course. I cannot express how relieved I felt after leaving my appointment! I highly recommend this office to anyone needing ENT services.

The nurse and doctors were very nice! They truly do seem to care! I will always recommend Dr Silva and his assistant.I will have to learn a negative comment on the front receptionist. From the start they were very rude and they were not friendly at all, the one girl that signed me in did not even have her mask on until walked up and she hurried to put it on. She asked for my daughter last name and all she said was ok.. when we went to check out the schedule my daughter next appointment the lady didn’t even listen or seem to even care. When we said have a great day and thank you she was still Very rude, when leaving i looked that the other receptionist i could tell she was talking about us, the front desk are the first people you see and would give a good vibe but instead the vibe was horrible and we seriously have been thinking of switching.

Had a wonderful and professional experience bringing my 1-month-old here recently. She had failed her auditory test while we were going through the battery of tests leaving the hospital after delivery and we needed a follow-up to check her hearing out. Not only was Dr. David Alexander extremely thorough in explaining what he was going to do and why the State of Virginia requires these tests, but he also walked us through it all and was able to knock it out quickly and painlessly (and we have no hearing issues!). Dr. David was great and I noticed he even had a First Army patch on the wall, which is a plus for us. As a veteran family, we love working with fellow veterans, "First in Deed!" We will be going back if we have any ENT or Auditory questions or concerns going forward.

Dr. Fox listens and cares about her patients. She is highly responsive and has made a huge difference in my comfort from the sinus surgery to managing my care going forward. I love Dr. Fox!
