I’ve been going to Sami for a few years now, and she’s the best. She’s very professional and knowledgeable and super patient. We’ve had fun picking out different hair extensions, creating a few highlight combinations and hairstyles over the years. She also never disappoints with the product recommendations.Thank you, Sami. You’re the best!

Sami is a godsend. My teenager has been struggling with her hair being unruly and chaotic for a long time. I scheduled her an appointment for a clarifying treatment and cut with Sami and she left with a huge boost to her confidence. For the first time in her life, her hair was manageable and she couldn't stop looking at herself in the mirror. We have seen SO MANY different stylists and none of them have been able to get her hair under control. We are so so grateful for the information that Sami gave us to help keep her hair under control.

The stylist initially bleached my hair and then applied red-violet color, but the color application was not done correctly, resulting in bleached patches throughout. Despite a root touch-up and the attempt to achieve a red-violet color, both services were visibly unsatisfactory. Upon payment, I noticed prominent white hair, prompting the stylist to reapply black color for root touch-up again. I left the salon in that state and only washed my hair at home again. Despite my request for the store manager to contact me regarding the issue, three days have passed without any response. This experience was a waste of money, and now I must seek another salon to redo the coloring.

5 STARS FOR MCKENNA. I was looking for a specific product that was out of stock everywhere.Before coming to this Ulta in Leesburg, I had gone to Ulta in Dulles 28 Centre I entered the store and the floor staff was little to no help, a lady who did not even bother to check the back stock lead me to the floor where the product was clearly not there, assuring me that they did not have it. I spoke with another lady who redirected me to Ulta in Leesburg as 2 products of what I had wanted were there.I entered Leesburg and a floor staff was about to clock out, but was kind enough to stay and help me look for the products, mind you there were only 2 in the store, but the staff unfortunately could not find what I was looking for. I had given up and decided to proceed with ordering it online, when MCKENNA asked if we found everything alright and I mentioned to her that we were looking for the OUAI DETOX Shampoo and she said, "we have 2 left!" McKenna, literally went above and beyond, she was super friendly, kind, and prompt. SHE ALSO KNEW WHAT WAS IN THE BACK STOCK THOUGH SHE WAS AT THE CASH REGISTER AND SHE LITERALLY INSTRUCTED HER COWORKER WHERE TO LOOK AND EVEN DESCRIBED THE PRODUCT I WAS LOOKING FOR WITH SUCH DETAIL.MCKENNA DESERVES A RAISE, she has literally been the kindest employee I've encountered at any ULTA Beauty.

I LOVE Ulta. It is the only place that I will purchase my skin care, makeup, and I even have been getting my hair done regularly for years. Specifically at the Winchester, VA location. I made an emergency pickup order from the Leesburg location, and didn’t realize I had left my ID at home, 45 minutes away. I understand policy. I asked if there was anything that can be done, because after a skin regimen change I was desperate to pickup the lotion I had purchased. (Not a cheap one, either.) The attendant helping me waited until I was frustrated, partially in pain due to how dry my skin had become, to say “oh, well if you’d like we can just cancel this and you can purchase it over the counter.” Why wasn’t that offered to begin with? I won’t ever be back to the Leesburg location. I should have toughed it out and went to my home location. Ridiculous.

Went in yesterday and was greeted immediately. They are always very nice in there. I was just looking around and they always had someone around in case you had any questions. Their lipsticks are always so beautiful. Wish they had more disposable makeup applicators to try on products. Very nice visit and even though i didn’t get anything workers were still extremely nice

Last night was the LAST time I’ll go in this store. It’s unfortunate that they have become overrun with unruly groups of teenagers. Last night a group of 4 teenage boys horsing around in an aisle I was in and literally knocked me into a display case. When telling the associate checking me out - her response was that there is nothing they can do, nothing they can say, they can’t ask them to leave ……not the stores fault however it makes shopping there miserable and it has happened every time Ive been there in the last 3 months. It’s truly a shame that you can’t even buy lip gloss without drama

I always love coming to this Ulta Beauty store! The customer service and eagerness of the staff is impeccable, and they are always so helpful and kind. The store is clean and organized, I always order pick up from here and I am met with a smile everytime I come to pick up my products.

I hate this store. I went in to buy a gift for a friend, a lovely and expensive bottle of perfume. At checkout, I declined to give my phone number or email. I DO NOT want to be remarketed to by this company. The clerk then tried to extort me into opening an account saying I could not get a full refund or exchange without one. I requested a gift receipt. That was not possible, either. So - I will go to a reputable company that doesn't kidnap their customers' information. This is a deplorable practice and should not be rewarded by consumers.

Today I had a very rude experience. I had ordered a pick up order, so it was already paid for, and I requested curbside pick up. I was sitting outside in my car while it was 5 minutes before closing so I was worried about them not getting to me in time. After 5 minutes had passed, I noticed a worker locking the door on the customers. I got up and went to the door and while it was open, I asked about my order because I had been waiting. This woman proceeds to cut me off at the end of my sentence and tell me, in a very passive agressive tone, that they were closed, and wouldn’t even allow me to explain how I had been waiting, and then shut the door on my face. Very rude.

I got my hair done with Sami for the first time and the whole experience was so great. She is so friendly and welcoming and truly gives the best honest advice. I love how my hair looks and I can’t wait to come back!

I visited this location yesterday and was having a very hard time finding a foundation match. I had been waiting for someone to help me but I was patient because I could see they were all helping other people. Out of nowhere this really pretty and tall young lady came out of the blue with the most pleasant smile and calm demeanor. She immediately assessed that I needed a neutral undertone formula and picked samples for me to try and take home to decide. On top of that she took me to the perfume section and explained the difference between some of my favorite fragrances, made recommendations and gave me perfume samples to take home. I left smiling from ear to ear. Her name was Nancy! I will never forget her and pray that she is acknowledged for her exceptional customer engagement and marketing skills!!!
