Outstanding service and work from Transition Tri. They built my bike over 2 years ago, and brought it this week for a well deserved service and adjustments. Brought it mid morning and turned it around same day, with outstanding service and my Aspero 5 is now riding like new. Great customer service, expert service and as importantly very friendly. When going there, always feel like a very valued customer and friend of the store. BIG Kudos to Adam for his dedication, friendliness and expert work.

I have been a cyclist/triathlete for over 30 years, and have to say working with Steve and the team at Transition Tri has been the best bike purchase adventure I have ever had. We worked with my budget and I believe I have an awesome bike that I will ride for many years. I highly recommend them. And, it was and is worth the drive to Leesburg.

I’m not what you’d call a Bike Person- I’m really a swimmer who got tricked into running and then figured, “well, guess I’ll buy a cheap bike”. That was a number of years ago, and I decided that if I did an Olympic length tri on that cheap bike I could buy myself a real tri bike. Well, I bought that new bike, and then I got injured, and my QR CD 0.1 sat for years as a trainer queen, waiting for me to get back into racing. I decided this would be the season, but riding has never been comfortable for me (see: not a Bike Person) so I thought I should go have a professional help me get set up. The team at Transition Tri was extremely helpful- Steve spent hours with me making sure everything about the bike was perfect. He set me up with a saddle that suits my body and riding style, and really impressed me with the truly scientific way he went about setting up the bike for me. He even took the time to take a look at my old bike and confirm it was safe and functional. While I was there, I got talking to Melissa and mentioned that the padding in my bike shorts wasn’t comfortable, and man did I wish they made swim caps for long hair. My ignorance in this case was replaced by bliss: wouldn’t you know they also sell bike shorts that fit like a glove, and swim caps with room for my hair! I will be back when it’s time for new running shoes (or new anything)- the team is so friendly and helpful. I wish I’d come in as soon as I moved to this area- maybe my bike wouldn’t have sat so long. Looking forward to seeing everyone at races this season!

My happy toes and I thank you, Alex, for your help in selecting the Shimano IC5 cycling shoes this past Sunday! Used them for the first time today and they were amazingly comfortable! The fabric of the shoes and the extra toe space allowed my toes more wiggle room! My toes felt fine throughout today’s cycling class instead of sore or sometimes numb in my not so old pair! A game changer for sure.Thanks again.

My wife and I were visiting Leesburg last October on our anniversary. We live in Richmond but travel up there every fall for our anniversary. Before we left Richmond my bike had started making a clicking sound. I cleaned the bike well and put on a new chain hopping that would fix any problems. Needless to say the bike continued to click into the second day of our trip. At the end of my second ride on a Friday morning I stopped by Tri sport to see if they had any idea where the noise was coming from. Adam Repp. Stopped the bike he was working on and but my bike on the stand. He like a wizard detected the sound on the rear hub. He continued to take the hub apart, replaced the bearings and cleaned and lubed everything. He put it all back together and we had a wonderful conversation while he did the work. After the work was done I did not have a credit card on me to pay. He said just swing over the next few days no rush. Needless to say the bike rode like it was brand new!!!!! If I lived in NOVA I would with out a doubt make this my Local bike shop!!! I plan on stopping by on every visit to NOVA from here on out. If you are in the Leesburg are I could not recommend a greater shop and a better mechanic than Adam Repp!!! Thank you so much to Adam and the shop!!!!

Got sized for my bike here. They made adjustments in the seat, shoes, peddles, bike stem, and studied they way I rode my bicycle. My back no longer hurts when I ride. Would recommend 100% to have a bicycle adjusted here.

The minute I walked into the store today, I felt welcomed. My road bike had a misaligned handle bar and front derailleur that was rubbing against the chain. Adam immediately stopped what he was doing to listen to me and tuned my bike on the spot. He offered his advice in a helpful way and made sure I understood how a trim shift can set the derailleur in the right position. I appreciate the quick turnaround and friendly staff to anyone in the area. Thank you guys for making my day!

Northern Virginia has limited options for triathletes, but I make the trip to Leesburg because of the reliably outstanding service. I'm only 2 years into triathlon and the staff is a wealth of knowledge.
