Visited to buy a new video game a few days after it released. Although there were signs for it, there were no copies to be found. I also noticed a limited supply of games with a lot of empty slots on the shelves. It's funny, I only went to Best Buy to avoid the long waits at stores like target or Walmart when an employee needs to open a game case. I won't be back.

I placed an order for 1hr in store pickup today at 5:45pm. I showed up to pick up at 735 pm. Employee nonchalantly informed me that the item was still unavailable for pick up. I asked if it was possible to just grab the item for me since I was actually in store. Nope not possible. Waiting wasn't an option either since this location closed at 8) I let him know that I would cancel my order if no one would be able to grab the item. Sure no problem. Canceled. The logic makes absolutely no sense to me. They would rather cancel my order than get me the item that I paid for. My purchase was around $650. I don't know what kind of business would just let that amount of money walk out the door. What a huge turn off.Will not be returning to this location!

Very small Leesburg Best Buy, not much inventory. Like every Best Buy I have visited, the staff is not very knowledgable. When you ask for something (wireless headphones with mic in this case), they just read the boxes like I can. They really only had 2-3 different ones, so I purchased one, took it home (JLabs brand) and tried it on my next call. "You sound very muffled" what what I was told. I went to return them, noticed that they had a nicer pair at Sterling location, so went there. Website was wrong, their inventory was just as bad, so I got a store credit. Not sure why I wasn't just issued a refund. Anyway, went across the street and bought a decent pair at Walmart. Sad day when I get better product and service on electronics at Walmart over Best Buy.

I came to this location to get assistance with a Samsung phone purchased witting one year March2022, I was really surprised with the awful customer service experience at this store , first I got to the geeksquad explained the situation that the Samsung device was not holding the charge /battery any more , I know that the phone had a crack on the screen but since that was not the issue I still decided to ask for the help, the problem is the geeksquad manager without looking at the receipt told me that he could not help, u less I had the bby warranty , wait isn't they supposed to honor the manufacture warranty? Anyways I then requested to talk to the Gm to explain the situation and also request if I could at least get store credit and I was to buy another phone right there including their warranty , this is the issue I have with her answer she stated that because it was a limited warranty with Samsung I had to call them directly , that is FALSE, as a former bby employee and GS Manager the information provided to me was 1000% false , the store is to honor Samsung manufacture warranty during the 1st year of purchase . Definitely need to learn the policy before giving false information to the customers , FYI I was fine if the GM MARIANNA MORTON or the GS Manager would tell me because of the screen I have to go directly to Samsung otherwise I will be happy to help u in store , but NO they declined service for the total wrong reasons . I will continue purchasing from BestBuy I won't lie about that but definitely not at this location. This employees are the reason why a lot of us now purchase online , the warranty and return process are easy and hassle free. Thanks to both of you for the horrible experience at this location .

Overall, a good experience when on Christmas Eve mostly because of Jonathan a sales associate at BB. There was a very long line and a lot of bare shelves but Jonathan go me in and out quickly. He was courteous, professional, and warm. Best Buy did well making him a part of their team.

pitiful customer service!!!!! ordered 4 tvs and needed to reschedule delivery and installation to wait for my wall mounts to arrive. They will not answer the phone and hung up on me when i was waiting on hold to speak with someone. I hadn't even got to speak with anyone so it isnt me!!!! Manager needs customer service training or something!!! or all employees!!!! im thinking about just getting a refund on 3800$ order!! pitiful!!!!! can't be bothered with customer!!!!!

I will never buy anything at this store ever again! We spent nearly $2700 at this company and they called the wrong number to set up an install for a TV at our house and with the person our son didn't recognize that there was an install he said I don't have an install. He's a college he has no idea what's going on at our house. He's miles away. and they try to put it on us. I am done with Best Buy. It will be better to buy a product from amazon.com and pay a local contractor that I trust to get this install done and never deal with these knuckleheads ever again.

I purchased a new iPhone from this Best Buy several weeks ago and requested to have it shipped to my home, on the recommendation of the sales rep. I still have not received it several weeks later -- Fedex has created a shipping label, but the tracking information states they haven't received the package from Best Buy yet. I called Fedex to confirm this as well. I went into the store where I purchased the phone to ask about it, and they essentially told me they couldn't help me. They recommended driving to the Fairfax location and asking them about the phone, since it should have shipped from there, or filing a claim with Fedex. When I asked if the Best Buy employee would be able to call the Fairfax store on my behalf, they claimed they were unable to call the Fairfax location directly because they'd be routed through Best Buy's phone lines and put on hold repeatedly. They also told me they were unable to cancel the order and refund the money when I asked. I called Best Buy's phone service myself and, after spending 30+ minutes primarily on hold (since I didn't want to waste gas driving to Fairfax), the phone service hung up on me and I still do not have a resolution. As far as I'm concerned, Best Buy / this store has stolen $100s of dollars from me by selling me a phone they did not deliver and refuse to refund. Avoid this store like the plague -- I don't appreciate paying $100s for a product and then being asked to do a bunch of legwork to track down Best Buy's delivery issues for them. Completely unacceptable.

It's a joke. You can not speak with anyone at the store near you. The phone is answered by a clone employee... in WHO Knows Were! I AM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER OF BEST BUY... I WOULD RATHER WASTE MY TIME FINDING A SEARS STORE THAT IS STILL OPEN. Just think... Corie Barry, the Corporate Executive Officer Only Made $15 million +++. The employees at each location no longer answer the phone, meaning the person with knowledge and detail has more to do BECAUSE AFTER THE VIRUS, NOW THEY HAVE LESS PEOPLE THAT CARE ABOUT YOUR ON SITE QUESTIONS AND DETAILS . Maybe that is why the Google Rating is just over (1). Again Folks ONE (1) IS THE LOWEST RATING... No Racial Discrepancies, They'll start giving Chinese Lessons in the near future and The CEO and the Company Executives may be getting big raises while the phone representatives will get harder to understand¿? Maybe that is why while growing up, they were saying it's better to know a second language¿?

Went there to pickup an item I ordered over the web, the kids at the customer service are really not very customer friendly at all. Both of the kids walked away, and I stood there for a good ten minutes before one of the managers stopped by and fetched my item. I've had better experience at this store before but today was not good.

I am an "Elite Member" and have "shopped" at Best Buy from its inception. Before them it was Circuit City. Since Monday this week I have been trying to speak with a local Best Buy (Leesburg Virginia). Since Covid-19 Best Buy appears to be sending ALL INCOMING CALLS to a National Call Center. It is NOW NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK WITH YOUR LOCAL STORE VIA A TELEPHONE CALL! Monday morning, I called Best Buy in Virginia and was routed to the National Call Center. I asked for a local number but was told I would receive a call back from the local store "within 2-5 hours. After 5 hours had passed I called again that evening and was assured I would get a call back in 2 hours. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANYONE! Tuesday morning I called again. Once again I was told I would get a call back within 2 hours.... AGAIN... IT NEVER HAPPENED. Next I attempted to call the Corporate Office, asking to speak with anyone at Corporate who could help and operator I spoke, transferred me be back into the NATIONAL CALL CENTER! I then spoke to that call center person who assured me someone would get back with me... "within 2 hours" I call the Corporate Office a 2nd time and that person DID TRANSFER MY CALL TO A "CORPORATE OFFICE". About 2 hours later a gentleman called and seemed to be helpful and assured me someone would "call me tonight..Tuesday! He said he would call back to check if anyone see if someone returned my call. Today is Wednesday and I have yet to hear back from ANYONE. The frustration is... I can drive 16 miles to a local Best Buy and I promise you, there will be clusters of 2-3 Best Buy employees engaged in personal conversations AND NO ONE THERE HAS TIME TO RECEIVE OR ANSWER A CUSTOMER CALL. This new business practice will ultimately cause Best Buy to fail. It is now DAY THREE at 4:06pm and not a single Best Buy employee from ANYWHERE has called. I have made my last purchase at Best Buy. Based on my experience, I want everyone to know... if you make an in store purchase you WILL NOT be able to call your local store for assistance if you have a problem.

This updated review is for their appliances. First, I couldn't find a salesperson and when I did they just seemed to just ask if I was going to place an order. I'm not buying groceries; these are $1000's of dollar purchases which take some level of dialogue/knowledge before I decide to place an order. I had to get both a dishwasher and refrigerator b/c both broke in the same week. I was super motivated since we were washing dishes by hand and buying ice to keep things cool in a ice chest. Stay away from Frigidaire which are junk. Both of our new appliances broke less than 4 years later in our new to us home - sellers bought prior to listing/selling to us. Selection was a bit smaller than expected and most of the appliances we were interested in were not available/in stock. I know with Covid, appliances have been very hard to get. Service was distinctly lacking so we next went to the local hardware store and dropped $3k not 60 minutes later. What was worst was the pushing of the Geek Squad membership. What a difference service makes.

Poor service and horrific return policy. I purchased an item suggested by their in house staff to extend my internet reach in our home. The product (eero Pro 6) did not work as Best Buy suggested. When went to bring it back, Best Buy said they would not reimburse me anything because it was beyond 30 days. I spoke directly with the manager and he refused to budge on reimbursement of any kind. Absolutely horrid as this product was purchased 100% on a Best Buy salesman recommendation ( Brien Jones). I strongly suggest avoiding Best Buy and especially the Leesburg store as customer service is definitely lacking. They only care about making a sale, not about locality or the customer.

I ordered a tv for delivery and set. The morons they sent to install couldn't figure out how to configure the audio to the receiver (their job). I just told them to leave and now I'll have to spend extra money to get an IT person here to fix what I already paid for. I'd recommend not giving this Best Buy any of your business. I called the Leesburg location to get resolution and they "aren't taking calls" at this time. Unbelievable.
