I waited around for 40 minutes to buy significant kitchen appliances. The one guy who was knowledgeable was unavailable during his shift and then his shift ended. A few other kind women tried to help but they openly had no knowledge on the topic. The manager was nowhere to be found. Driving 10 mins to Home Depot.

I gave one star out of five for this review only because zero stars was not an option. I had an appointment for a window quote on 9/12/23 with Leesburg, VA Lowe's . Jennifer came out gave me the price and explained that it would take about five weeks for the actual install. She sent me a proposal upon leaving my house and I had had couple of questions for her. I emailed her twice with those questions and received no response. I decided to go ahead and sign the contract anyways on 9/21/23. In early October, I went to the store to speak with her and get an update. Another employee found her in the store and she agreed to see me and speak with me. I waited for about ten minutes and left as she never showed up. On 10/25/23 went back to the store and the window department employees emailed her and texted her in front of me as she was not there on that day. I decided to go back to the store on 10/27/23 to follow up. Again, she was not there and the window department employees texted and emailed her again. This time, they also emailed her boss as well. I was not contacted by anyone. So, I went back to the store on 11/1/23. Was able to speak with Crystal, the assistant manager. She told me that she was taking over and after she finds out what is going on, she will call me that day or the next day. Again, didn't hear from her or anyone else. I went back to the store on 11/7/23. At that time, customer service rep. was able to get ahold of Jennifer and she called me while I was at the store. She didn't offer any explanations or said that she was sorry. She just stated that she was not aware I was looking for her. This is an obvious lie as other employees have tried to contact her number of time while I was present. She said she would look into this matter and call me back that day. Well, she never did. This is terrible customer service and business should not be run like this. I wasted two months of my time chasing my window order. This is unacceptable.

We used to enjoy shopping at this store but a recent encounter with an employee today made us realize that this company will hire anyone. Employees who don't care about how they treat customers will impact company revenue not to mention jeopardize their brand. I'm just grateful this man doesn't work for me. Corporate HR really has their work cut out for them.

Just purchased a small refrigerator for upstairs since I'm having surgery. The only issue was the dent in the top of the surface when opening up the box. I realize this is not Lowe's fault as the box was ndd we ver opened. Unfinished had to return it which was done just fine but they had not additional ones of the same model so now I'm stuck.

thry are a mess! I ordered a washer/dryer . First Lowe's cancelled my order a week later and then tried to put it back on the credit card. This triggered a fraud alert. I had to call my credit card to fix that. I ordered the washer/dryer again. I kept getting rescheduled delivery dates. I keep spending money on laundromat because Lowe's is incompeten.

I've made 2 appointments 1 week apart, and no one shows up. I receive an email cancelation each time, but when I call to find out why the appointment was canceled from Lowe's in Leesburg, Virginia, the customer support person said my request, name, phone#, and email are not in the system. This is a real waste of time. Perhaps Home Depot is a better alternative.

Get your Dishwasher here !! What a great, easy experience. I shopped online, found the one I needed, a stainless steel GE model, which was $300 off ! Added delivery and setup, and removal of old dishwasher. Fantastic communications throughout the transaction. Online purchase on a Thursday afternoon, dishwasher installed Tuesday morning. In this case, Mega Plumbing was subbed out to do the installation. Great communication from them also with Text, Email, and Phone calls. Showed up on time, true pros. I'm a happy customer.

I had such a great experience at Lowe's today. There were so many CSRs that approached us with greetings and support. We needed to purchase flooring and David was exception from the beginning to the end. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and efficient. He helped us pull inventory from the top shelf and gave us the pallet so that was have the best product. Each boxes were inspected and he made sure we did not take home damaged boxes. He also helped us pack 700sq/ft of flooring in our car. Thank you Lowes!

The managers and supervisors at Lowe's Leesburg are SO bad that it defies belief they still have jobs. Tried to buy a fridge there last week and the sales person told me it wasn't in stock. I asked if they could order it and he said "Yeah, but we use the same warehouse as 13 other stores, so even though it says there are 20 of them, they could already by sold, and you could wait for a long time." So I got online and ordered. They said it was in stock in Leesburg and would be delivered the next day. We waited the 5 hour window with frequent emails telling us fridge had been loaded on the truck and they were on the way. 10 hours later they still hadn't showed. This was the 3rd time this has happened with Lowes. The managers couldn't care less. They just put you on hold for 20 minutes and then read you the emails you're already getting. This store was so good before the current manager took over. It's really sad.

I came in for a simple electrical repair and needed assistance, making sure I got the right electrical box. The employee who was assisting that aisle with rightfully helping customers who came before me. However, as I waited, the employee proceeded to have long Conversations with the customer before me beyond product assistance into construction knowledge, permitting etc and even discussions about products from their rival store Home Depot. As the other customer said to the employee "I'll let you go to other customer" (Me) the employee made no attempts and continued to have conversations as I sat there waiting for approx 4-5 min until I grabbed a box and left . I may or may not have gotten the right thing but I found it to be beyond rude and poor customer service from the store. A quick check with me or acknowledgement is all that was needed as he clearly was engaging in a long winded,detailed conversation. I had the piece I needed to replace in hand, standing 1 foot from him in front of the many boxes .I simply needed a "yes , no or get this" and he could go back to imparting his knowledge to others. I was upset but I didn't engage with the employee or cut in so the previous customer didn't have an awkward experience. As usual when I left, there was very little lines open the focus was on self check out with a very minimal contact or assistance from employees. I go there out of convenience not because of service.

Dealing with this Lowes store has been one top 3 worst customer service experiences I've had...and I have had some doosies over the years. We ordered a washer online on November 4th...after ours went out. We have a family of 5 and laundry piles up quickly, so we were pleased when we were scheduled for delivery on November 6th. November 6th came and we were given a delivery time window...but the window came and went. Later in the day, we received notification that the store was rescheduling our delivery for the coming Wednesday. My wife took off work to be home for the delivery on Wednesday. When the delivery window came and went again, we contacted the store only to be told this time that "the product was not in stock and they were having trouble with supply chain issues." I asked why we were given two separate delivery dates and actual time windows for delivery...and why the product was listed as in stock on their website if none of it was accurate. I complained that my wife had to off work and said had we known the product was not in stock, we would have gone somewhere else. The representative had no answer accept to repeat the supply chain issues and tell me it was listed as in stock because there is a floor model. He then said, let me be doubly sure about this and go back and put eyes on the stock. He took my phone number and said he would call me back shortly. But as of 10am the following morning, I had not received a call back. So, I called back and asked to speak with a manager. I was put on with Bennett. Manager Bennett seemed authentically apologetic and interested in making things right. He researched me a comparable washing machine, gave me free delivery and installation, and free haul off of the old matching. In the process, he took my number and called back three times to confirm various things. He rescheduled the delivery for 11/18 (yesterday). Given Bennett's responsiveness, my wife and I were hopeful we would have a washer on 11/18. Once again, yesterday, we were given a time window of 10-2pm for delivery. My wife and I had to jump through hoops to make sure one of us was here at all times. I called about 10am to make sure they were on schedule for delivery and was told - "yes, the product it is on the truck and you are stop #8. The truck left the store a little late, so it will be closer to the end of the 10-2pm delivery window you were given." When they still had not arrived at 4pm, I called again and was told this time -- "It looks like the product was not loaded on the truck." WHAT?!? I asked to speak with Bennett who had helped me get the new order setup. After a long hold, Bennett came back and apologized, saying "The product was not put on the truck because the delivery company only delivers to my area on certain days and he was not aware of that when he scheduled our delivery." Absolutely at wits end now, I asked to speak with a higher level manager, and was put on with Carlos (Assistant Manager). After explaining the situation AGAIN and expressing absolutely upset I was, Carlos did some digging and came back with a new version of what happened. This time, he told me, "Your product had to be on the truck because a delivery ticket was printed. The ticket would not have been printed were that not the case. But, we use an outside contractor for delivery and when they see a Maryland zip code, they sometime don't do the delivery if they don't feel like going that far." WAIT WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!? Now my frustration and patience were gone and I was livid. I told Carlos that while I appreciated his honesty, what he told me is simply unfathomable to hear from the manager of any company, let alone considering the circumstances that his customer had already experienced...and the multiple variations of stories I had been told. Carlos told me they would be happy to "compensate me for the inconvenience once the delivery was completed and the product was delivered in good shape." I bought my windows in July - the sales person was fast to sell and very personable- perfect sales guys - said I'd have my windows in 8 weeks - here it is November and no windows - When I go to lowe for paint or whatever there - they are selling more windows they can't deliver and telling more lies - but you get a free bag of pop corn! The salesman doesn't call me I guess he made his money so ..... anyway I would never ever recommend lowe for anything you can't take to the cash register and walk out with - I am optimistic that one day I will get my windows - Lowes is not my kind of store - Lowes what are they good for? Well they're not Home Depot ....

Came in to grab some paint, waited in line as the woman in front of us finished her order after which the paint guy walked away. Assumed he had to use the restroom but 15 minutes later I decided to ask the cashier at the front for some help. He was the only paint mixer and decided to take his break at that time. Cant blame someone for wanting their deserved break but waiting 45 minutes for a can of paint seems like a strange thing that management should consider when scheduling their people. Stick to Home Depot.
