This is one of our go to local parks. It's a great hike that's not too hard. There is almost always a river view.

Great hiking trails along the Potomac.If you want to hang out and access the river, get there early. The best spots fill up early.The day we went was so perfect, warm temps, no humidity, no wind. Magical.
