I've been a frequent flyer at this location. Having had a bad flu, this past 2 weeks offered me the opportunity to visit this place. At the time of my visit their drive thru window was closed all day. No reason just a hand written sign "closed". The lines are always present inside, lots of drop off and pickup prescriptions. Don't go during the day, every retiree is in line. The good thing about this location is their medicine dispensing box. Expired and no longer needs meds can be dropped off for recycling or whatever they do to it. Lots of parking and plenty of self serve checkouts.

Their pharmacy needs to learn how to answer the phone or have an option to leave a message. I fully understand being busy and not being able to control your current workload, however, waiting for someone to pick up the phone for an hour plus, just to end up hanging up when trying to find out information about medication is incredibly frustrating and irresponsible of the pharmacy department at this location. Do better.

Four for cleanliness and services. But, I believe the screening for TB is too expensive especially if you aren't actually being tested. $59.00 to answer a question if you traveled to any of the places/countries that were listed on a sheet of paper.

We have received several vaccines from this location and even though busy the pharmacists have all been pleasant. Not today. At 3 pm we had our vaccine appointments and while I appreciate pharmacists are busy, they charge for giving the flu and covid vaccines and this pharmacist was very unfriendly. She should have been courteous since she jammed the flu vaccine incorrectly in my arm so it broke and splattered all over me and so I had to have another shot. Then she complained about writing in our vaccine books that we keep to we can inform our PCPs.Very disappointing visit and we should have gone to our Giant pharmacy where they are courteous and professional.

I appreciate the impeccable level of care Cinthia shows me any time I’m seen by her at the MinuteClinic. She is very knowledgeable, actively listens and takes your concerns seriously. Keep up the amazing work, you’re such a light!!

I feel for the folks that work in the pharmacy who are called upon each day to manage a crazy volume of orders; I don’t know how they do it. And they’re always very cordial, and positive, especially Zach (he absolutely rocks), providing that you treat them as humans vs. robots devoid of feelings. Thank the good lord for these fantastic men and women at the Lansdowne CVS pharmacy!

The pharmacy staff at CVS Ruby Drive was completely incompetent- first at preparing my Rx which has been with them since Friday (now Monday) without any further notice to me why there was a delay. They were also incompetent at estimating the time it would take to get Rx ready after they stated it was already ready to my spine doctor. My doctors office stated that the Rx was ready for pickup and had called CVS Ruby Drive to confirm this before calling me to inform me to now pick it up (I am also a physician and with a busy practice so I trust people in healthcare will do a competent job also with my care). I came in today for my Methylprednisone pack and they stated- give it another 5-10 minutes and it will be ready (some hang up on the Rx despite my doctors' office stating all was good with the Rx and it was ready for me to pick up). After half an hour later, I still did not receive any information from them about my Rx being ready and when I asked, they said it wasn't ready yet. I decided to leave rather than wait another half an hour in pain for the incompetent pharmacist and his or her adjunct people to prepare my Rx. Now forget the fact that Rx should have been ready based on my doctor's office calling them and confirming it was all ready for pickup. Forget the fact that their so-called 5-10 minutes became over 30 mins. Forget the fact that they never apologized about the delay out of courtesy. Forget the fact that they never indicated a system of how they would tell those of us who were waiting how they would "let us know when Rx WAS READY". We were just standing to side hoping someone would know it's us waiting for a Rx. I left out of exhaustion and although I am in pain without my Methylpred pack, I was in more pain dealing with these incompetent buffoons at CVS Ruby Drive. DO NOT come here for your prescriptions please. I am a physician and I will no longer be sending my patients here as they simply are not competent at what they do. Please visit CVS Russell Branch which my wife states is much better and far more competent unlike Ruby Drive here.

Completely disorganized. The pharmacy is chaotic. They can never find your meds, and waiting in line is atrocious..The only reason it's not a one is that they are still friendly in their chaos..

Ruby Drive CVS in Leesburg is always backed up at pharmacy. Girl at front register always floating around or on her phone.

A phone call yields an automated service that can't seem to understand English. Trying for a prescription refill and it tells me Covid tests are covered by insurance. Relevant? Not. Then when I ask for menu, it tells me to hang up if that's all I need. Lovely.

This location needs to evaluate what their priorities are or hire more pharmacists! I take a medication that is considered a "controlled substance" that can only be handled by the actual pharmacist. I called to get it refilled on a Saturday afternoon and was told it would be ready by 3:00. To ensure that it was ready, I waited to come until 5:45... and it WASN'T ready bc the pharmacist had been giving Covid vaccines instead of preparing medications. This was in Dec. '22... not exactly in the height of the pandemic! Medications that are needed by your customers for health reasons should be the PHARMACIST priority! So I was told to drive ALL THE WAY back out the next day for it. The next day, I waited 1 hour after opening to see if it was ready before calling. It still wasn't ready and yet again I was told that the pharmacist was giving vaccines again and could not fill the Rx. So I am now on day two without taking my med! Thanks for nothing... but you just lost my business!

Very poor customer service. The pharmacy is hit or miss. Today, an Indian lady pharmacist was taking her own sweet time after a tech informed her that I had a question. She needs to understand that when a customer approaches a pharmacy they are dealing with a sick individual 95% of the time. WAKE UP! Just like you we all work hard for a living. Customer service is critical & at CVS, Ruby Drive in Leesburg, they seldom care.
