Love the store; love the concept, love the staff, love the products, love their chalkboard signs, love the free beers in the summer. My go-to gift store for everyone and every occasion.

Really cute shop! Lots of fun items in stock. Great place to find gifts, jewelry, and other things. Gifts for men and women. Friendly staff and two cute birds live in the shop!

I politely asked if they would be having a Black Friday sale and was given a self-righteous lecture by the woman behind the counter about “small businesses” and “supporting your community” and how Black Friday is “only for big box stores.” This - as I bought 2 cards for $14 from her store, which sells extremely expensive merchandise, in one of the wealthiest counties in the country. Get off your soapbox and learn how to speak to customers. A simple “no, I don’t think so!” would have sufficed.

The store has unique merchandise but why does it have to engage in anti catholic bigotry. Leesburg is a welcoming community for all.

This store was so awesome! You can find a gift for anyone! The owner is crazy funny and welcoming, I went back a second time just to hang out with her again. If you need something very special check out the earrings and bow ties made of feathers. They are incredibly special. I’m so glad I found your shop!

This place rocks! It's like my spirit animal in a storefront ? you will need a good hour to get through it. Everything the owner has chosen to display is unique. I've been here a few times and I'm always coming back home with fun items to display in my own businesses and with friends. If you get offended easily or you don't have a sense of humor, save yourself the humiliation and don't go in. This place is only for people who remain on the dark side ?

Sort of a modern-day Spencer's Gifts (remember them?) that tries very hard to be classy. Insufferably snotty staff. Lots and lots of things with profanity on them; lots of weird items shaped like middle fingers. I'm no prude, but I just can't imagine why you'd want this much juvenile garbage in your house. Lots of cheap junk that is ridiculously overpriced (I even recognized one small item as something I purchased at work as a giveaway for $2 apiece; this store wanted $26 for it). Crummy jewelry at prices that made me gasp. Some of the brands they carry, like Filson, make high-quality products, but you'd be much better off ordering them online from the manufacturer. You'd get better service and might even be able to use a coupon code or take advantage of a sale (Filson's online prices are lower, too). This place has GOT to be for tourists because I grew up in Loudoun and I know the locals are smarter than this.

We were browsing the store and my husband looked at the cost of a bow tie and saw it was almost $250. He said to me “wow that’s expensive” and the person working said “well maybe this isn’t the store for you.”

Brick & Mortar is such a fun gift shop in Leesburg, I've also been to one of their other locations in Middleburg. The items they sell are quirky, funny and some might be a bit inappropriate. They're a small local business, where you can find products by local vendors. At Brick & Mortar you can find glasses and mugs with funny sayings, kitchen towels and pillows, a variety of items with the name of the city you're visiting. There's candles galore, candles of interesting shapes, and candles with a variety of scents. Something a bit more unique is the jewelry and bow ties made of peacock feathers. As you can imagine the prices are a bit higher, but you are supporting a local business, and you're sure to find something unique, for yourself or as a gift.

I'll never frequent this or any of their other locations again! Merchandise breaking is a risk of doing business. Either don't over crowd your displays or understand that accidents do happen. Making a customer pay for an accident, especially how your manager handled the situation was demeaning, uncalled for and regretful. And I can assure you that piece of merchandise was not a one of the kind item. Your "Made overseas" crap is easily replaced. You've lost a customer and I will be sure to tell others of this experience.
