AutoNation LIES about needed repair work! What makes it worse is they lied about critical safety equipment. They wrote up $1450 of repairs to replace seized brake calipers. Which isn't why I took the SUV in. When I asked which caliper I was told both. Seized means they don't work! So I'm being told both of the rear brakes have failed. I asked if they noticed the brakes and rotors were brand new and still shiny! They confirmed they did, so I asked how they came to the conclusion that they were seized. The response was they don't turn freely. I declined the repair and checked the system myself and both rear brakes work perfectly and the tires rotate freely. I even took it to a shop for my state inspection and they said the rear brakes and calipers were working fine! In addition, they listed out $6100 of other repairs they thought are needed. This is for a 2017 4Runner that drove perfectly.Avoid AutoNation at all costs !

Long wait time. Came in for state inspection and waited 4 hours when I made an appointment. Do not recommend.

Do not do business with this dealer very dishonest. I came here on Friday for one car. They offered me another car that was online that they had. It was marketed as $7978.00 see attached posting of marketing photographed on Friday the day before yesterday Oh, I came back today and asked for a deal sheet they try to charge me 2000+ dollars more claiming the new list price is 9828. This was an error. They did not having the marketing of the price that I was given. However I screenshot the actual marketing for my yelp review document the whole process prior to even getting to this point, bad business practices AutoNation is a scam. They wasted my time I drove here from Maryland.Secondly, during the process of applying for financing, I had asked for a deal sheet before I committed to the financing. They had me fill out the finance form without the actual pricing all with the intent to defraud me is scam me I attached a text messages showing that they never disclose that there was any problems with the pricing until I ask for the deal sheet today. I came over an hour away, wasted my gas in time and I hit on my credit.Buyer beware I think it's because I'm a single woman they thought they could take advantage of me!!!! Sexist for of Discriminating practices

Called one hour before appointment to see new car to make sure it was still available. Dealership said it was. Drove an hour to the dealership and they said it sold that morning, well before I had called to confirm. Terrible customer service. Avoid this place.

I should have read their reviews before stopping in for a test drive. I met Nate and asked for a test drive of their new 2023 white Toyota 4runner. I wanted to see the white one I had seen online and take it for a test drive and feel whether or not it would work for my needs and if I liked the way it handled. He sat at the desk filling out some form asking me for my basic info and what I wanted to use the vehicle for and how many miles I drove? Never did he really listen to what I originally asked him. Then, when he looked up at me, he asked me if I wanted to look at the Highlander? WTF?He finally got a set of keys and took me outside with no dealer plate.... my hair stood up on the back of my neck, and I just knew this wasn't good. He took me to a dark gray, USED 2021 Toyota 4Runner! I looked at him and said, "You didn't even listen to me." I literally walked off, and he looked stunned. He came to my vehicle as I pulled out of the front parking space, trying to tell me he had the keys to the white NEW 4runner. I just looked at him and said, "Too late." I am not interested in a sales person that doesn't listen. I am in sales for a living, as well, and listening to my client's needs is paramount!Happy ending! I went to Chantilly Toyota for a test drive 2 hours later, met a very knowledgeable man, Hadi, and not only did we go on a couple of 2023 new 4runner test drives, I decided to buy their 2023 white Toyota 4Runner. Things always happen for a reason. I have had great experiences with my previous SUV purchase at Chantilly Toyota, and they had the right vehicle, salesmanship, and care. Woohoooo!

This is a positive review..........I needed to sell a car. 2015 camaro ss with only 24k on the odometer. I did my homework and knew the car was worth about 29 to 30k in like new condition and a 6 speed manual to boot. Carmax offered 22k. They are notoriously low in their offers. Vroom offered 24200. I was looking for 25k. AutoNation came back with 23500 (their original online offer). I told them that I needed to feel good about the price and wanted 25k. I thought they would come back with a 24200 offer but surprisingly they offered 24800. I accepted. I believe they were reasonably honest for a car dealer where every penny is negotiated. Also, I was ready to walk out if the price wasn't fair. And, they gave me a check on the spot and honored their no fees quote to me. So they offered 24800 and the check was for 24800. 4 stars because the "hour and a half" process took almost 3 hours.

I ordered a new 2015 Hylander here and after it arrived, they wanted to charge more than what we had agreed to. It was only about $150 more, but they wanted me to walk away so they could resell it for a higher amount (the new body style was popular at the time and I had negotiated a good price with a salesperson who had left between my order and vehicle delivery). But that's not the reason for my review -- although it should be.Since that purchase, I have been taking my two Toyotas here for service because I bought the prepaid maintenance. I find the service check-in process odd because the Service Advisor space is too small. Sounds strange, but I never know where to stand and wait, or who is going to help me (even though I always make an appointment).Today, I realized AN Toyota Leesburg has been charging me for extra services I haven't requested or that weren't explicitly discussed. This amounts to +$80 extra for at least two oil changes over the past two years (I didn't look further back in my records). See the photo for an example of what the charges look like ($15 labor for fuel cleaner!?). If you decide to use AN Toyota Leesburg for service, they do fine work but be clear up front that you don't want anything you didn't explicitly request. Seems like you shouldn't have to say that, but apparently you do. Unfortunately, in my case, this erodes customer trust and I won't be back.

Thank you to Mr. George Sierra Garcia for helping me purchase a beautiful vehicle for my wife. This young man was very knowledgeable on the vehicle and understanding on my budget. If you are going to buy a vehicle from this dealership you must go through him. The worst part of this experience was the sales managers and their hidden agenda. They offer you an "option" to have a appearance & windshield protection that cost $639, a door handle protection for $488 and window tinting for $799. This is not an option when buying a new car, instead when sitting down negotiating the price they inform you this has already been added to the vehicle.I recommend Mr. George Sierra Garcia because after finding out this misleading information, he still managed to hit my target number. I believe he took a hit on his commission but I'm not sure. Thank you Mr. George Sierra Garcia, you are a good man.

WARNING: They are not selling with a "market adjustment" but are not selling at MSRP. Not without mandatory packages.Other dealerships add a market adjustment then give you "dent protection" and "paint protection" packages for free. This bait and switch is just more dishonest.Even if you specifically ask if they force packages, they will say no but then when you come in "SURPRISE BUDDY!".These packages will not increase the value of your vehicle and will just add more money to the loan/lease. They are also notoriously difficult to redeem for what qualifies. Toyota isn't forcing these packages, it's Autonation. Remember to avoid these guys when supply outpaces demand again.

Ok so I have to give their service a "just OK" rating. I took my car in and was told that the brakes need new pads all around and new rotors on the front. I had a recall and safety inspection done. Luckily, I took it to another shop to check and they said I only needed new pads on the front - saved a ton.In today's inflationary times, I prefer to do less so that I can save more for gas and other things. Also the other shop provided a free loaner car while my brakes were done.I guess I might still use them for buying/selling cars.
