Great staff and very clean ,and tidy. Usually don't have to wait in checkout very long except some evenings. I will see one kid on the register with several ppl in line while the closing shift manager is talking off to the side with 3 or 4 other employees and not offering to help get the line down but it's not that often but it shouldn't happen at all if they're busy. Otherwise I love shopping here and the prices are as good as can be expected considering how much everything has gone up thanks to Bidenomics.

You better hope you don't need anything from the front office after 9:00 p.m. the store doesn't close until 11:00 p.m. and they can have six people standing on the front doing absolutely nothing but nobody can help you in the front office

Very outdated for a Food City. Especially considering this food City is in its home state of Virginia. I've been to multiple food cities in multiple states and considering this food City is in its hometown it was very disappointing outdated dirty and the customer service was horrible. I also know from experience that you're supposed to be identified to be able to purchase alcohol and/or tobacco products and this food City failed to do so.

We love Food City when we are in the area and this one did not disappoint. Kern's pies and many other things we can't get close to home. Friendly staff.
