I’ve been going to All Creatures since Dr Doxtater was still there. Many years! I love that it’s a small practice and they are VERY compassionate. I had to say goodbye to my very old Yorkie, Chloe, 4 years ago. I called and they were expecting me. They had a room open for me and Chloe. My mom went with me as support. I had to make the decision to let my male yorkie Dusty go a few years before and a long hair chihuahua ChiChi (Rescue that I intended to rehab and rehome and she never left us why I called her ChiChi then it just stuck!) Anyway, it was always hard but Chloe was the absolute hardest. That dog was more human than a lot of humans! She ate whatever we ate, slept with us, went on trips with us, had her special noise that was “talking” to us. Every night my dad would share a pickle with her and lay her on his chest belly up and rub her belly til she fell asleep like a baby. Then he would let me take her! ? For this reason and bc she was my last of the 3 it hit HARD! The staff made sure I knew everything they were doing and that I was ready and comfortable as well as Chloe was comfortable. It’s never an easy decision but when it’s time they let you know. I was crying and the staff told me I could use the back door to leave so I didn’t have to walk thru the lobby of pet parents. They are so compassionate not only of the animals but the owners too. It’s easy to get an appointment and prices are fair. I didn’t think I would get another yorkie and was against it for a while but I did get another baby Christmas 2022 after my heart had time to heal. Holly! And my parents had gotten me a chihuahua pup a couple years before to soften the hole in my heart. My whole family uses All Creatures for all our pet needs and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Another time one of my babies had surgery and I picked them up at 4 and at 10pm I still couldn’t get her to wake up. The doc gave me a direct number to call in case of problems and I called and told him what was going on and he met me at 10:30 at the clinic to check my baby out. She was fine thankfully. He got her to eat some stinky but yummy to her can food and wake up more. She was just taking longer to wake up completely. But the fact the doc met me at 10:30pm when he could have said take her to ER vet meant the world to us! These docs really care and really take care of their clients and patients! Love them! Wether routine exam or spay/neuter or a sick furbaby they have you covered and will do everything they can and keep you updated every step! Thank you for taking care of my family all these years! -Ann Morgan Considine

I've patronized All Creatures Animal Clinic for many years and have always received excellent treatment for my pets and cost savings for my pocketbook. I recommend Dr. Jones-Berry and Dr. Tuck highly, along with their caring, courteous staff.

Dr. Jones - Berry is kind and amazing. She is informative and discuss all your options, so you can make the best decision for your pet. I have a senior dog that she has helped me to manage her senior care and skin issues. They are worth every penny. They always fit me in and have time to answer my questions. Gwen has been a patient for over five years and she loves going .

The practice is run by a solo vet with limited hours and difficulty getting "urgent" cases seen. Fallback is very expensive emergency vet (review your bill CAREFULLY). Doc misdiagnosed my pet with nothing more than "feeling" the body in the lobby area. Staff impersonal, not like the excellent and friendly staff under Drs. Kinkaid and Doxtater. Prices on par with Williamsburg vets, who have more office hours, veterinarians, and ability to see sick patients the same day. Fine practice for those with open calendars during the weekday and no need for urgent sick or injury care, but not for the rest of us.

Not a good option if your pet is sick or injured and needs to be seen in the same day. called on a Wednesday before a holiday and couldn't get an appointment until Monday, so had to go to expensive urgent care clinic. Will be switching to a practice with more vets and more available appointments.

I’m using my work account, so this review is under my bosses account. The vet clinic here is top notch. They’ve seen 4/5 of my dogs and they’re just great. Prices are affordable as well! If you’re looking for a vet anywhere around lanexa VA… go here! The vet is very attentive to each dogs needs. My 10 year olds Indi (ridgeback) and Marley (German Rottweiler) were very sluggish and had trouble getting up and down the steps. After seeing the vet, they’re both lively and are moving around running around the farm like they were in 2017-2018.Great people! Great vet clinic! Extremely close to my farm which is an added bonus. If they’re still taking new patients, I highly recommend going to all creatures vet clinic! Everyone’s very nice and again, affordable. Affordable to the point where all the normal shots needed, tests and exams are on par with the “economy” pricing of the humane society and any other “low income” vets. Can’t say enough good things about all creatures. They also saw my two little girls (I don’t have kids my dogs are my kids) prior to the two 10 year olds and again, very affordable.
