I am HORRIFIED with how terribly I was treated through every step of this process.
They sent me paperwork to sign that would have ordered the wrong size. I asked them to correct it. They sent me new paperwork that I thought didn't look right, but they assured me that they knew better about these things and that I should "trust them."
They told me they would call me when my dress arrived in 4 months. I didn't hear anything from them until I called them after 5 months, and they said it had just gotten in and they would have called me later that day if I had just waited and "trusted them."
When I went to go pick up my dress, it was 3 sizes too large. I brought up this concern and was assured that I only needed to take it to a wedding seamstress and it was supposed to be this way. The manager bullied me into signing that I picked up for the dress, and shooed me out of the store and locked the door behind me, while rolling her eyes. I brought it to a seamstress and she said that it would cost $2,500 to make the dress fit me. I PURCHASED THE DRESS FOR $2,000.
I went back to the store to talk to them, thinking maybe I picked up someone else's dress or something had gone drastically wrong. They insisted that they had ordered the right dress, but they would "do me a favor" and call the dress maker to see if they had a different size on hand. You know, the dress maker who took multiple months to make the dress, would just have a spare in the back....?!?!
While the manager made the call, the sales person measured me to see what might have gone wrong with the sizing. She gasped and under her breath said they had written down my measurements wrong. She proceeded to basically sprint back to her manager, and they spent the next 15 minutes standing in the corner whispering to themselves. They returned over to me and insisted that since I had signed for picking up the dress, there was nothing they could do and I would just have to deal with this myself. I was crying in front of them, asking for help, and all they did was push me out the door.
I GAVE THEM $2,000 FOR A DRESS I CAN NEVER WEAR.
THE ONLY THING THEY GAVE ME WERE FALSE HOPES AND BROKEN PROMISES.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!

They had a large variety of dresses to try, which was exactly what I needed. No pressure to buy. Stress free appointment. Amenable to helping me see my dress with accessories as well so I could make my final decision. I loved that they have off the rack and designer to order dresses.
I tried four different salons over the weekend and, in the end Vivid was the only one carrying The Eclectic style I was looking for.

Brides be warned and stay away!!! do not trust these people, as they will steal your money and not look the other way. They don’t care that this is supposed to be the best day of your life, and only care about money.

I had my wedding dress preserved with a different company back in 2022 and by unfortunate turn of events, I never got my dress back. I mourned it, life went on, moved from VA to WA, and counted it as over. LaKeisha from Vivid Bridal Boutique found my package years later. It had been mistakenly delivered to her company and put with packages to be picked up by clients. She went above and beyond to get this dress back to me. I can not put into words how relieved and happy I am.
Their mato is "Motivated by kindness, inspired by our brides" and I've experienced this as someone who was not even a customer. Thank you x100!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Vivid Bridal! This place came highly recommended by my best friend, and now I can see why! This was my first dress appointment, and from the moment we walked in, my guests and I felt so welcomed and comfortable. The staff took the time beforehand to reference my Pinterest board of dresses that I liked, and they had a variety of gowns picked out upon my arrival based on what I was interested in. They were also very considerate of the budget I had selected prior to my appointment and only selected gowns that were within my budget. The stylist, Tiffanie, was so friendly and knowledgeable and was very helpful in answering all the questions from my guests and myself. She was so patient with me while I tried on all the dresses she had selected, and then she pulled additional dresses for me to try on after we discussed what styles I liked best. Tiffanie made the whole experience so fun and low stress! By the end of the appointment I had found the perfect dress for me that made me feel beautiful and confident and I couldn’t be happier!

Phenomenal! The women here treated me like a pure princess & I LOVED that! As a plus size bride, I was able to find multiple dresses that I’d loved. The dress in the picture isn’t my wedding dress though, but was definitely my runner up. Oh! Lakeisha is literally an angel in disguise. I’m so thankful for her?

I first heard about this boutique through a friend who also purchased their dress here. My experience with Vivid was amazing from beginning to end. Vivid is a stress free, budget friendly place and I was not pressured to buy or choose any dress I wasn’t comfortable in. In fact all the dresses I tried on were beautiful and it was hard to choose just one. Once MY DRESS arrived 4/12/24, I tried it on and it was perfect! I would like to sincerely thank Lakeisha for this beautiful experience. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. A true girls girl. I highly recommend checking this boutique out for your wedding needs.

This was my first wedding dress appointment, so it was my first time trying on dresses. Lakeisha was amazing!!! She took in all of my wants and eliminated my dislikes. She truly looked at me and found the perfect dress for me. She made me feel beautiful, like I have never felt before! She truly made this appointment beyond amazing! I will forever recommend Vivid and Lakeisha!

I want to start by complimenting Tiffanie, she was my consultant the day I chose my dress and she was amazing. However, everything afterward went down hill.
I was told the dress would take 6 months to come in. At the 6 month mark, I called to check on my dress. They informed me that the dress was never properly ordered through the designer and that the dress I ordered would not come in. Thankfully, the sample was still there and they told me I could take that because any ordered dress would not make it in time for the wedding. The sample is not the size I ordered, and had a fake tan stain on it (thankfully it came out). They offered to send the dress to a cleaner in New York before giving it to me, but I refused it due to the tight time constraints now in place with needed additional alterations with not having the correct size. The cleaning is a predicted 3-4 additional weeks, when I am only 3.5 months away from the wedding.
When I asked how this occurred, they were unsure and that it was an oversight that can happen. I was repeatedly told that it was a good thing I called, because this error was not caught. No one at the business was checking in on the order that had been placed 6 months prior, even though my wedding planner called at the 4 month mark and they simply stated that it was not in and did not look into it any further.
I asked for a discount or refund of some sort because I did not receive the dress I ordered, I received a dress that is not the correct size and is off the rack. They said no, since I was able to at least leave with a dress, the only refund is the $100 shipping fee. I asked if they could cover the cost of the additional alterations since the dress is not the size I ordered, they said no.
The owner offered to cover my gown preservation after the wedding, but I no longer trust them with any logistics, with such an important piece, and will not be taking that offer.
If you want the dress you ordered to come in, I would not recommend this shop. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The point of a bridal boutique is to get the dress you ordered, and that did not happen.

Won’t lie I was nervous to go to Vivid since I made a big deal about paying $45 versus $200 for 4 people. But… I am so happy I decided to go to Vivid. The girls were so welcoming. Listened to exactly what my vision is and helped me find my dream dress. They don’t have an alteration person in house but do provide you with people who do. They have a VERY large selection of dresses for all body styles. I love that they name the dresses different names rather than by style numbers and they introduce you to “her” aka the dress. They were so professional and we had a GREAT time and they made us feel like family.Before I came in I was bummed based upon a previous boutique I went to in the morning and they completely turned my attitude around and I left a completely happy bride.

Vivid was, no joke, the first and only place I went. I had no idea that I would find my dream dress that day! From the minute I booked my appointment to the day of, the women were incredibly communicative. During my appt, I felt so safe and confident and truly enjoyed the experience! I can’t wait to see my dress when it comes in. if you’re a bride in the NOVA area, please give this place a visit!!

Such a wonderful experience!! Emily was our sales consultant and she was absolutely amazing. Everybody was super accommodating and just very centered around helping me get MY DRESS.
