Ms. Jennice, your smile and kindness when I walked through the door was simply priceless and your service was exceptional. I look forward to working with you.

My 6 year old is now reading chapter books on her own! Thank you Huntington! Ms. Tracey is a wonderful teacher. Mr Kim and Mrs Jenice are very welcoming and kind…1st class service. If I were looking to sign up for an activity for my kid, this is definitely well worth the investment. Much better than karate or gymnastics…

Worst service ever! Most of the staff aren’t qualified to be tutoring. They fabricate test results to make themselves look good. The material they make students work on has nothing to do with what the students are learning at school. Huntington is so bad that not even my third grade teacher recommends them!

I was looking for SAT preparation help for my son. I called this location many times. Most of the time no one answered. I left voice message three days ago, no one called me back. Today, I called Huntinton Learnings toll free phone number, they routed the call to this center and someone picked up. This guy transferred the call to "their specialists" and again I am asked to leave a voice mail. It does not look like they care about their prospective customers. There are plenty of SAT prep options out there. So, I am not wasting my time any longer.

I give Huntington Learning 5-stars! They did a great job with my son who needed some support after his daycare shut down. We found he needed some help to quickly prepare for Kindergarten and they are one of the few centers that can help in any area your child needs help with. Ms. Tracey, Adam Turner, Megan Miller and the entire team at Huntington Learning Center worked quickly to access his skills and helped us develop a personalized learning plan to catch him up. Thanks to their good work, he did really well his first year of school, thrived in a challenging virtual environment (despite the challenges of Covid) and I attribute much of his success to the good work of Huntington Learning Center. We appreciated their work so much we drove from Bristow, VA to their offices in Woodbridge, VA twice weekly.

My daughter has made big improvements in her reading and comprehension at Lake Ridge Huntington. She has increased confidence and therefore she is a lot more motivated in school. Everyone at the center has been communicative and responsive.

My son has done very well with Lake Ridge Huntington and his grades reflect that. The Director is outstanding and so are the teachers. The center is also very flexible with scheduling - big, big plus.

Since I put him in Huntington his grades have gone way up. Without Huntington he would still be at about 3rd or 4th grade level. He is now in 6th grade and on 6 grade level. I am so proud of him. Thank you Huntington I can’t say enough.

Both of my children have improved academically and socially. It's only been a few months but I can see their improvement. Their confidence has grown significantly. Thank you Megan, Adam and all the teachers who work so hard to help my children. You are great support especially in our current world situations. I recommend any parent to reach out to Huntington Learning Center.

My son was a solid D student in math and a struggling C student in English but with the help of the teachers over at Huntington he's improved and he's now a B student all the way around. They were patient and adjusted to his learning style.

This learning center is one of the most unprofessional business I have deal with, not transparent, and not honest with the customer. I had business exchange with the Center Director from June 25 to July 1, 2019 and her performance as the leader was business unethical. Any parent that walks into a learning center is searching for help and willing to invest in their child education. As the director, those points are clear, but should not be taken as an opportunity for advantage. That is how I felt. I enrolled my daughter into the SAT/ACT program and paid $145 for a test assessment, $150 for registration fee, and $158 for two unsuccessful math tutoring hours. Yet, no successful tutoring or educational care for my child. First, during the test review the director failed to be truthful. At no time the director mentioned the math tutor assigned was a new tutor with no experience in teaching. I found out after two ineffective tutoring hours my daughter had. At the end of these bad tutoring, my daughter expressed to the director that she did not feel comfortable with the tutor and that she did not understand the tutor due to the tutor’s limited communication skills. The director’s reply was that a second session needed to go through before a change of tutors. Having heard that, I got involved. The director and I had an exchange conversation, and I was amazed how she expected me to believe that a brand-new tutor can teach math due to training and certification. Any professional in any subject knows that you do not earn experience via certification or training. In the contrary, time in the field is what makes you proficient. She finally stated that she was planning to have other experience tutor or herself over watch, yet this course of action was never mentioned during our original chat. As a result, I earned an extreme disappointment. Furthermore, she requested for me, the customer, be flexible and adjust to her schedule due to limited math tutoring in the center. It is assessed that there are more students than tutors available, or the tutor that knows how to teach math is overwhelm and works limited hours. The director also mentioned of having multiple tutors for my daughter or accept that the tutor hours original recommended were not going to be accomplish as promised prior to the SAT test. An unbelievable respond and completely unexpected. In the end, I cancel the program and wasted $453 with no successful tutoring. The money can be replace, but the experience is unavoidable. This circumstance could of be avoided if the director was honest and mention the gentle condition the learning center is experiencing. It would leave me, the customer, with a chance to make the final decision with all facts on the table.

DONT EVER GO HERE! You will not get any support from these people. They're rude and unprofessional . I would not waste my time nor spend my money here again ! AND FIRE MS.AVA! She's incredibly rude to me , and should learn respect while talking to a student!

This center is under new ownership/management since late 2016 and many positive changes have happened across the board.

I was a tutor at Huntington for several years. Parents pay outrageous tuition and tutors are paid next to nothing. What's worse, now there are many, many tutors, including myself, who have put in 100s of hours tutoring students and we have not been paid. This is the most dishonest organization I have ever known. Please do not support Huntington in any way. The owners AND the management know their employees have not been paid and are doing nothing to help us recover the $$ that we are owed. How despicable to deny hard-working, low-paid tutors money. Most of us are teachers who are trying to boost our already low income. This organization robs teachers of their $$, stay far, far away....
