The chunky white girl that works here knows absolutely nothing. Anytime u ask about anything her response is “I don’t know”. I asked her if a product was in stock and she said “I don’t know” how about you check it??? I even asked her I said u didn’t even check it? How r u gonna tell me no or I don’t know. Additionally, I was buying a product and asked her the difference between the two and she told me it was the same thing when they were clearly in different packaging and did not look the same. I was right because the one she gave to me was TINTED!!! Not the one I was looking for. I even showed her a picture of the product I needed and she still gave me the wrong one. Not sure why she’s working there considering she knows nothing about makeup or the products they have there. Entire staff needs to be replaced, they’re unhelpful, lazy and clearly incompetent. Lastly, this location is constantly out of products which is fine whatever but at least clean up the stations? Every product aisle is dirty and messy. They get paid to stand there and be useless.

Joy was so awesome and knowledgeable she really took the time with me and helped me with everything to correct my problem and she’s super nice I highly recommend joy at this location

Lazy, incompetent staffThe rep with the long, wavy ponytail did nothing but stand there when asked about a product.Don’t waste your time coming to this Sephora.The website isn’t even accurate.

The cashier that was working on 01/21/23 was very disrespectful to me. I was at the line to purchase makeup with my baby that was on a stroller playing, the baby was holding my Fenty beauty makeup that is packaged. She yelled from across the other side where she was helping other customers purchase their items, she said I quote " you should protect your baby" like I put my child in danger of something, and insisted to argue with me saying she has a baby at home too. Make it make sense. What does that have to do with me? I'm with a different cashier while she was talking to me. This is not the first time she has said triggering words to me, I came another time, she gave me the same energy. I tried to avoid her, even was interacting with the other cashier for my needs. I'm done going to this store, because of her. She has embarrassed me Infront of people for no reason at all. She needs proper training on how to treat and TALK to customers. The other ones that was there were excellent, even helped me match my skin. Unfortunately, I didn't get to buy anything because of her. Last thing, she doesn't even ask her customers if they need help, she look at us with unwelcoming face. Worst person to represent your brand. Do something about it if you don't want to keep losing customers like me.

My neighborhood Sephora is full of staff that fail to greet customers & you'd have to chase them down just for a little help. After discussing my Sephora experiences with multiple friends over the years, & discovering that they also had similar experiences at the Pentagon City location, I gave up & just avoid Sephora altogether.Yesterday, however, I stumbled upon Sephora at Kohl's & figured I'd give it a try. To my delight, it was a great experience. The cashier was stepping away from the register when I approached & low & behold I was not ignored! She immediately greeted me as she returned to the counter & assisted me with my transaction. Keep up the great work!!!!

This Sephora has some of the best customer. I went in for one thing and had a question about something else. Mai (sp?) was super helpful about face masks and serums. They were very knowledgeable about various products and their effects on skin. I left feeling more confident about what I needed to do to care for my skin. Allison helped me find a color-matching concealer. I was all over the place with what I wanted and they took the time to identify products that would be good for my skin and color. They are very knowledgeable about the various products and took their time applying products to my skin. Allison also made me a few samples to take home. A couple of notes: * because this location is in a Kohl's, it has limited stock compared to the standalone retail locations * similarly, you cannot make returns and exchanges here for products purchased at standalone retail locations * this location does not offer makeup services (e.g. 30, 60, and 90-min) If you're looking for a great shopping experience for beauty products, I strongly encourage you pay this Sephora a visit.

They didn’t have many things in stock or a wide selection. Their reward system was also down so I wasn’t able to get my points for my purchase, so that was also very inconvenient. But the lady checking me out was really sweet. If in the area - I’d suggest just making the quick drive to the location at Springfield Mall.

This Sephora is located inside of Khol's department store. When you pull into the parking lot you see two separate entrances with each of the business' individual logos. One has signage for Khol's & the other has signage for Sephora, leading you to believe that they are two separate entities attached to each other but alas, it's a Kohl's with a Sephora located right smack in the middle of it! A wee bit confusing but funny once you walk inside & realize they both belong to Khol's, especially if you specifically walked to the Sephora "entrance" thinking they were separate buildings, lol. This is definitely a smaller Sephora but it is pristine, well stocked, & brightly lit. They have a good selection, & several advertisements & promos. They had a promotion for Gwen Stefani's makeup, & there were items under $20, as well as items that were 30% off. Nice! Peace, blessings & Happy Sephora shopping peeps! Cheers!
