This is such a nice, well-organized store. Most things were neatly on the shelf instead of jumbled like in other TJMaxx stores. They had a good selection of storage bins and skincare that I was looking for. An associate even helped push my second cart out for me since I bought a lot and was struggling.

The manager of store helpful our receipt was washed on our clothes it was not easy to scan or read it. First they said they will give store credit which it was an option for us. Then we asked to see the store manager.
The store manager find the way print new receipt and return the items we were asking to return it.

Visited yesterday and was disappointed by the competency of some employees and communication with off the clock employees.
Was returning some mugs purchased over thirty days with receipt and was expecting a store credit per their return policy. Upon arriving at the register, two employees marked them down and were unknowledgeable regarding the return policy. Therefore, they asked an off the clock employee named Casey whom then advised me I’m not allowed to return them until they’ve been marked down because it prevents people from committing fraud and that’s pretty much a restocking fee. ? As a TJMaxx credit card holder, was practically accused of committing fraud with my valid receipt, credit card, and identification card.
After calling corporate, I was advised I was allowed to return the items regardless since I had a receipt which I shared with the same lady that was marking them down. She then spoke to the manager, Richard, that happen to come upfront, whom confirmed kindly that I was allowed to return them.
That being said, as a neighbor who visits often, someone who is off the clock walking his dog should not be educating employees and those employees should be seeking knowledge from management when they seem to not know what they’re doing.

The manager at this store location in kingstowne va does not understand customer service at all. I gave him 2 reasonable requests at purchase and he did none of them to my satisfaction and one of the requests he didn't do at all. It isn't hard to embrace customer service. Annoying.

My favorite place to go for home decor items, and exclusive food items, not found in regular chain supermarkets. Great location. Easy access, and plenty of parking.

Wouldn't accept a $100 bill to pay for my purchase despite it being legal tender in this country because, I was told, "they're not a bank." I had already given the cashier the money and they refused to give my money back until they ran through the entire thing as a "return" because my items had already been rung up...I just stood there several minutes with neither my money nor my items until they had processed it all. I asked if this store policy is posted somewhere that I just didn't see and was told no. What a waste of my time. Sitting in the parking lot and ordering what I need from Amazon!
