Rude people not worth visiting at allIt has nothing to do with the state mandate, we shopped multiple locations in town that required masks in a civil none confrontational manner!UNLIKE your IDIOTIC sign out in front of your store. My post is also linked to my account! I can stop by your store anytime you choose to put a more appropriate notification requiring masks !!!Just the response I would’ve expected from ignorant shop owner

Lewis Trimble is one of my favorite places to shop. The store has an incredible selection of mid-century modern pieces, mixed with some older Virginia furniture and antique primitives. The owners are very knowledgeable and always friendly. I was also glad to see that they take protecting the health of their customers seriously. Masks are required and worn by the employees at all times.

The shop has an amazing and eclectic mix of excellent pieces. The eponymous owner is a knowledgeable expert and an excellent artist in his own right. Good people, good politics, good prices, and great things! Worth a long trip out of your way!!!

This is an unexpected gem. The proprietors have a wonderfully sophisticated sense of style and have sourced such special offerings. I was also treated to friendly and warm attention. I wish I lived closer so that I could visit often! Don’t miss this shop. It’s worth the trip.

Owners are very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about a wide range of niche antique and decorative items. Have made several purchases over the years, including furniture, lighting, and accessories. These are the items in our home that always get attention and inquiries from visitors. Highly recommend!

Lewis Trimble Decorative Art and Antiques is a superb shop with a brilliant collection of antiques. No trip to Kilmarnock is complete without a visit to this shop. His expertise and knowledge of antiquities is both deep and wide which means that the shop has something for everyone! I highly recommend this cheerful, professional, and polished business. I drive from Washington, DC to visit the shop every year.

The store houses a wide and beautiful variety of mid-century furniture and home items. It is always a pleasure to visit, not just due to the items for sale, but also due to the people. Lewis and his mother are super nice and have been a pleasure to work with.

Incredible and professional atmosphere and in such a charming town. Wonderfully sophisticated and clever MCM stock. I thought I was on Madison Ave, in NYC. The owners/buyers have impeccable taste! Will return next time I’m in this area.

Lewis is a third generation artist and an exceptional curator of the decorative arts. Amazing discoveries sourced from being between two distinct geographic And historical regions, American Federal and Antebellum Southern esthetics.

I am an architect and live in Richmond, but the trip to Lewis' store is worth it for the wonderful mid-century finds. He is very knowledgeable about his products and also a caring, contributing member of the community.

Great antique furniture, but way too expensive for me right now.
