25 Troy Rd, Troy“All the staff at the Troy, Va. post office are simply amazing. I always receive my mail and packages very promptly without delay, no matter how overloaded they are with mail around the holidays. Somehow they do it, even if they are short staffed for handling the gigantic amount of mail they have to process. It's a small post office with very limited room for the staff to work. Consequently, it is not easy working conditions for the staff, especially during the holidays with a constant load of mail and boxes stacked up practically to the ceiling, but they get it all delivered on time anyway without fail.Blair Dehuff”
“This branch is closer to our house than the one on Route 29 but you must park in the parking garage. Only open 5 days a week with no self-serve kiosk. Employees are helpful though haven’t been wearing masks for most of the pandemic.”
“Despite some of the negative reviews, I had a great experience with this post office. I recently ordered two really important packages that were shipped from overseas that were marked “out for delivery” by USPS, but ended up being returned to sender (and were supposed to be shipped all the way back across the world!) after my address was accidentally marked as invalid. I called their office ASAP and was able to reach Diane, who was soo polite and helpful - and even went out of her way to personally find my packages from their mail room and re-mark them for delivery! She was incredibly sweet and even called me back to let me know that she would personally see that they were delivered. I cannot thank her enough for her help and would definitely recommend this post office just because she was so great!”
“I drive way out of my way to come to this branch anytime I need to visit a post office - the drive is really nice so it is no problem to make the time. The place is small and cheerful and the staff is upbeat and as helpful as can be. Shout out to Liz who has helped me several times! She is always friendly and efficient and clearly knows her stuff. This place reminds me of how things used to be in the ‘olden days’ before technology blew up and conducting your daily business became cold and impersonal. This little post office is a treasure and I hope it remains exactly like it is forever. Thanks for making a trip to the post office enjoyable, Earlysville PO!”
