The hotel is wonderful, great staff, plenty of attention to detail. The bar is pleasant, if a little chilly in some places, but overall it was good.
The big left down was the restaurant, the food was meh and the breakfast the following morning, not even diner quality. It lacked flair, imagination, everything, so disappointed.
Worth going for the hotel and grounds, just plan on eating in CVille.
Rooms: Wonderful, consider asking about where the sun goes down for a romantic view of the hills from your balcony, or sunrise champagne!
Walkability: Plenty of grounds, borrow the bikes and ride around the houses inside the grounds.
Food and drinks: Eat the bar snacks, avoid the restaurant.

We stayed at Keswick for a quick trip over Labor Day weekend, and it was exactly what you would expect from a 5 star resort. The property, guest rooms, dining options, and staff were all top notch. Every person we interacted with, from the bell staff to front desk, management, restaurant, etc. was incredibly hospitable and friendly. Most notably Lacey, who was wonderful with our little ones, chatting with them daily as we passed by the shop and exchanging jokes with our 5 year old. He regularly asks when we’ll return to Keswick, and we will most certainly visit again.

A-mazing
The room and the hotel itself are beautiful. The pool and hot tub are divine. The view of the golf course is insane. The Marigold restaurant by Jean-Georges is absolutely exquisite. It's hard not to enjoy yourself being surrounded by such beauty. The staff were top notch. I would absolutely recommend this place. Dinner at the restaurant is a must. It's a perfect getaway.
Rooms: The room with the balcony was well worth the extra cost. It's large enough to hang out, enjoy a meal, sun bathe or read a book.
Food and drinks: Marigold restaurant is a wonderful experience.

I had booked a weekend at keswick hall for my husband’s birthday through their own website about a month ago. In addition we had booked dinner reservations, golf and spa treatments only to be told 10 days prior to our stay that they were no longer able to accommodate us due to “a leak”. When escalated, we were told the actual reason was due to an error in their system in which the room was double booked and now had no further rooms available. Not only did they first try to skirt responsibility by lying about the room, but offered no other attempt to rectify the situation except for a weak apology. This is poorly run business. We expected a lot more from a luxury resort and we’re extremely disappointed by the disorganized and callous treatment.

Generally the property is good but the service and food isn’t great. I’m worried that Jean Georges signed off on this stuff. Whats funny is they say the restaurant is booked and then you just go on Resy and book a table. As a hotel guest it creates a weird dynamic. At least have good food if you’re gonna parade fake exclusivity.

We just spent our Honeymoon at this beautiful resort. It is absolutely stunning inside and out. Beautiful views everywhere you look. We played golf at Full Cry twice. Wonderful course and beautiful Clubhouse. The pool is spectacular. We ate at Crawfords, the Clubhouse and Marigolds. Exceptional service was to be had everywhere. We will certainly be back. If you are looking for peace, quiet and luxury, this resort will not disappoint.

This was our second trip to Keswick Hall. It has been completely remodeled since our first visit in 2017. The property is absolutely beautiful in every way. They managed to keep the charm it had in 2017 and improve on it. The dining options are Crawford’s and The Marigold. Both have fantastic food. We traveled as a family with 2 young children and the Keswick is accommodates this well. There are two pools, one for families and the horizon pool, both wonderful. All the common areas are luxurious but comfortable and inviting. There is a billiards room, library, two common areas that are set up for cozy game time or reading a good book. The rooms are perfection and the views from basically everywhere are beyond words. The staff is courteous, kind and helpful. The entire building is CLEAN and the grounds are kept well and gorgeous. Amazing trip and made just unforgettable by Cassie and David. Two staff members that I will never forget

Keswick popped up on my radar several years ago for their golf course;I did not have the chance to visit until this past weekend. Didn’t play golf, just enjoyed the resort for several days.
Service is as you would expect from a resort with this reputation. Spot on, not too heavy handed and always around when needed.
The property itself is stunning. The views from the rooms, pool, dining areas are classic Blue Ridge with some golf sprinkled in the foreground.
For the upscale nature, the vibe was relaxed. Likely more so in the summer as guests come and go in bathing suits to the pool. Never felt uncomfortable or out of place.
The design and layout for the pool puts Keswick over the edge in terms of feeling ritzy and justifying the price tag. Had such a nice afternoon enjoying the sun with a few beverages.
This property is essentially down the road from Charlottesville proper and what seemed to be a winery every few miles. If you need to stretch your legs and get off resort for a bit, you won’t be bored. That being said, you feel like you are a world away while actually in the grounds of KH.
I will save full thoughts on Marigold’s for their review but I went twice in the span of 24 hours for different meals and it was a totally different experience each time. Excellent!
I cannot wait to make up an excuse to visit again soon.
Rooms: Very well appointed with comfy mattresses. Nice suite style spaces are extremely spacious.
Nearby activities: Wineries abound as well as all that Charlottesville has to offer. The Brew Rodge Trail is not far away for even more breweries, cideries, and wineries. Good hiking as well when weather permits.
Food and drinks: Great bar and excellent dining experience at Marigold’s.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Keswick Hall, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Nestled in the serene Blue Ridge Mountains, this luxurious retreat offers everything one could desire for a perfect getaway.
The guest rooms are absolutely stunning, with elegant decor and furnishings that exude comfort and sophistication. The large marble walk-in showers were a highlight, providing a spa-like experience right in the room. Surrounded by nature, every aspect of the accommodation is designed to promote relaxation and tranquility. The attention to detail is impeccable, and I was particularly impressed with the Red Flower amenities, which added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.
Keswick Hall boasts a world-class spa, where I indulged in a rejuvenating treatment that left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The tennis and golf facilities are top-notch, providing ample opportunities for both leisure and sport. The beautifully maintained golf course, in particular, is a golfer's paradise.
Dining at Marigold by Jean-Georges was a culinary delight. The restaurant offers an exquisite menu with dishes that are both innovative and delicious, paired with exceptional service that made the dining experience truly memorable.
The service at Keswick Hall is nothing short of five-star. The staff is attentive, courteous, and goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are met. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home.
The location of Keswick Hall is ideal, just a short drive from historic Monticello and the University of Virginia. It's also conveniently located just an hour from Richmond and two hours from Washington, D.C., making it an accessible yet tranquil escape.
Overall, Keswick Hall offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in the beautiful setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The GM Catrina will just ghost you after emailing back and forth. It's unprofessional and can provide insight on how things may be ran behind the scenes.
