I went to 84 Lumber to build displays for my jewelry business. I ultimately bought a bunch of 2x4s, 2x2s, and a sheet of plywood. The gentlemen I spoke with were knowledgeable, friendly, and answered my questions without bias or prejudice. As a female and this being my first woodworking project, I was nervous how this would go. But I wasn’t treated like I was dumb or ignored as I find is common at Lowe’s and Home Depot as a female. These gentlemen also shared my business cards with their families and supported my vision for my company making a lifelong customer. I’ll be going back as I expand my company and need more wood. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Also, prices were competitive with the major retailers and actually cheaper than the big box stores.

They don't always have what your looking for. There are only two guys working there right now , but the gentleman that waited on me was very polite, energetic and helpful. Wood prices are still fairly high but not as bad as 3 months ago.

Needed 2x4s to finish greenhouse whiie i had help. Website says closes at 4. I arrived at 3:22. Door was open and he said. I close at 3 now.....i got in my truck extremley disappointed because my 2 sons leave today....another man pulled up and i politley said..guess they close early now...he said..oh he will "get me" AND HE DID...SAT IN MY TRUCK IN DISBELIEF AND WATCHED!!! I WILL NEVER BE A CUSTOMER AGAIN AFTER THIS......JUST UNREAL???
