Jamestown Visitors Center was amazing! The National Parks did and are doing a great job here as always.I can't describe the feeling of being there and learning the history that came from this settlement. Overwhelming!Loved every minute of the visit, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. This is another National Parks must-see!I highly recommend!

People who are working there are very kind. There is a nice exhibition in the visitor's center giving a lot of information about how the Jamestownehow was founded and about how developed in the later yearse

The museum is awesome. Informative and beautiful while the Indian village, 3 ships and the recreation of the settlement with the guides just brimming with knowledge - well worth the tickets. Be aware though, the tickets are seperate for the actual site but also worth while - take your Golden Eagle pass.

Was a fantastic visit this time. My travel partner and I saw new dig sites and the Archeological folks were very friendly and willing to talk about what had been found and some extensive history as well. The newer museum we toured with all of the finds so far including the skeletal remains was very informative. We can't wait to come back in a few years and see what new things have been unearthed. Love this place and the cost is cheap for such a historical walk through our history and beyond...

A nice museum telling about the history of Jamestown. There is an additional fee to see the grounds to cover Archaeology Foundation funds.

This is worth the stop to get a view of the actual place where the first settlers landed and walk on the land of the first settlers. There are original artifacts on display, recreated structures that honor the past and demonstrate an accurate portrayal of history as evidenced by the archeological findings. I love that they had indoor museums, live people acting out a living history demonstration and explaining things for all audiences to understand. It's a family friendly place, there's a restaurant near the water where you can eat or get a cold drink and sit outside watching the ferry go by. The air smells like freshwater near the bank of the waterway, and it's so peaceful to walk by the waters edge to take in the sounds, smells, and breeze. Inside the museums, there were QR codes you can look up to watch videos on youtube of what you were looking at. There's really so much to see and take in, but it will probably take a couple of hours if you take your time. And, the bathrooms were clean, workers were helpful, and parking was easy. Also, if you're in the military you get in free!

This is the real Jamestowne. Don't be tricked by going to the other one (settlement and historic ship). It is worth attending the guided tour. The most informative and entertaining tour I've been to.

Guided tour had a lot of info. So much history at this site. Alot of walking, there is an archeological dig taking place on some of the site. Interesting to see the work they are doing. Cafe on site was nice. By the james river. Limited menu. Greek salad was good.
