We had such a lovely time at Dog & Oyster Micro-Vinyard. Our server Emmy was phenomenal - she was genuinely kind, considerate and knowledgeable. We were visiting Virginia from out of state and would recommend this as a stop for those looking for a quaint setting to chat with friends and enjoy some fabulous wine.

Great time at this charming little wine bar! Enjoyed the whites and rose especially. The hosts were very kind and the roasted oysters were delicious as well.

They had a “dessert oyster” there not on the menu and it was amazing. Never thought I’d eat an oyster for dessert. Lovely venue and good wine. Great for a weekend afternoon retreat.

Exciting news: The Dog and Oyster Vineyard has repositioned and reimagined itself at 65 Tavern Road in Irvington and reopened under a clear span tent in front of the Hope & Glory Inn as a Micro-Vineyard and Oyster Bar. We are open noon to 6 pm Thursdays through Sundays with a menu of several locally sourced raw and roasted oysters, house-made charcuterie, our Chef’s crab salad, Bloody Mary oyster shooters with Cirrus Vodka and more. Four of our Dog and Oyster wines will be offered by the flight, glass, bottle and case. Noteworthy are our winemakers were #1 in Virginia in 2020 (Governor’s Cup) and #2 in Virginia in 2021 (Savor Magazine).
