65 Tavern Rd, IrvingtonFor more than 10 years the Hope and Glory has been almost a second home for me whenever I came to visit my parents either from Kiawah Island, SC or Big Sky, Montana. There is a certain charm at the H&G that simply cannot be replicated. The owners, Dudley and Peggy Patterson are dear friends and as long as I have reason to be in the glorious Northern Neck of Virginia I will always visit the Hope and Glory!

The Colonnade
65 Tavern Rd, IrvingtonWhat a special place the Hope and Glory. Our fine dining experience was lovely… sensitively presented and the chef followed through with all of the promises described. With time and experience, I appreciate consistency more and more. Achieving that level of tenderness with a steak, the delicate balance of herb to sweet and savory, and a dash of originality, along with a local specialty - the oysters- all components of a great meal that I will remember for years to come. Bravo!

The Office Bistro
4346 Irvington Rd, IrvingtonI love the office. Their new remodel is fabulous. Our server was super. The food I selected, though, was really not very good. I had steamed dumplings and they were dried out. Then I had the French onion soup. The soup was yummy but croutons and the selection of cheese didn't add to the dish. Swiss cheese and a slice of French bread would have made it much more authentic.

Fish Hawk Oyster Bar
480 King Carter Dr, IrvingtonYou can't ask for a more beautiful atmosphere. The service is excellent and the scene is relaxed. We were disappointed in the mussels because they tasted too fishy and weren't that appealing. Other than that it was a delightful experience.
