480 King Carter Dr, Irvington“We arrived at 8:15 pm on 2-21-24, we had a king bed in room 103. The man at the desk was polite and helpful, and the room was clean. The bed mattress was very comfortable and the room was reasonably quiet, we enjoyed a very restful night. The next morning we enjoyed a breakfast of omelets and sausage which was surprisingly tasty for a motel breakfast. I'd definitely sleep here again.”
“We love the Tides Inn. The service here is excellent, the amenities are refined, and the food at the restaurants is delicious. Definitely make sure you can stay for a full day to take advantage of all of the resort’s offerings.
Nearby activities: There are a few restaurants in town that a shuttle will take you to. There are some wineries nearby too. But you can easily spend your whole time at the Inn not leaving the campus.
Walkability: Make sure to walk along the boardwalk trail. You can get to every spot in the resort without driving. The elevators are a bit slow.
Food and drinks: There are two restaurants — Salt and Meadow and Fish Hawk Oyster Bar. Salt and Meadow is more upscale, while Fish Hawk is laid back - burgers and fries and the like.
Noteworthy details: Each room comes with a luxurious robe, snacks, magazines, and toiletries. There is a gift shop on site, a gym, and a spa.”
