Interesting little cafe near by to the warm springs pools with great sandwich options and espresso drinks. We made a pit stop after visiting the pools and picked up a bottle of wine, a few sandwiches, couple local items from the shelves and a coffee to go. Would give this a 5 star if there weren’t a lot of items out of stock that we had interest in. Overall great place for what seems like a remote location to find anything. We heard the brócoli salad was a big hit along with the oatmeal cookies. ?

Super nice spot to eat outside, share a bottle of wine (or just drink it all to yourself), or have a cup of coffee.We had sandwiches, some treats from the shelves inside, and coffees. All were made fresh with tasty ingredients.We also walked around with our dogs and saw the property. Very well kept, clean and offers beautiful views.We very much plan to come back, stay at the warm springs inn, swim in the pools and eat here!

my husband and i are staying at the Fort Lewis lodge and looked for a place to have lunch yesterday. we stopped in and had the best sandwiches. i had egg salad and my husband had chicken. so delicious. in fact we stopped back and got sandwich to take on our trip back home to Reston VA. the women working there were so sweet and service was excellent . and we loved looking around the property. we totally give it 5 STARS.

We make sure to add the milk house as a stop on our trips to West Virginia. The sandwiches are great and the staff is super friendly.

First I’d like to say that I know Google makes you give an obligatory 1 star. Which I will admit, this place is adorable, has great food/coffee, and a decent selection of snacks/to-go items…. I have been vacationing to Warm Springs with my family for the past three years, we stay just down the road at the Grist Mill Inn. Every time we come, we stop at the Milk House MULTIPLE times as there are already limited options in Warm Springs. And every time, we are met with the same horrible attitude and snobby customer service. Not just from their employees, but from the owner herself as well. They do not even greet you with a simple “hello” when you walk through the door, seem perturbed when you ask questions about their menu, and over all act as if they are doing you a favor by being open. You would think that in a town that is quite literally in the middle of nowhere, you would treat your customers with the upmost respect being there is typically only 1 car in their parking lot at a time. My family has been in business for 70 years with food service, we know first hand that how you keep good paying customers around sometimes takes a little a** kissing… even if you don’t want to be working that day. If you are planning on visiting Warm Springs any time soon, I would highly suggest checking out the Warm Springs Inn less than a mile down the road! They have an adorable cafe with delicious coffee, pastries and breakfast items; as well as a tavern with amazing dinner options. We were met with so many kind, helpful, smiling faces there that I can say we will definitely never be visiting the Milk House again.-You catch more flies with honey than vinegar! ;)

As locals, we regularly get sandwiches, ice cream, wines and other items at the Milk House Market. It’s great they’re open 7 days a week.All the sandwiches are home made with high quality ingredients.What also makes this our special shop is the professional manager and team who work there. They are focused, fast and friendly.We highly recommend the Milk House Market and their Team for gourmet sandwiches and high quality food items.

The service is always fast and friendly. I have yet to try a sandwich I didn't fully enjoy. There are some great local treats to peruse and snag while waiting on your sandwich. Always on my must-list when in Bath County!
