Never have I seen such a poorly run drug store as Walgreens in Hopewell Va. They sent me a text that said I had 3 medications ready and I could pick them up! I drove up waited an hour for them to tell me they would be ready in just a few minutes! So I said please take your few minutes and go get my prescriptions ready I've been here an hour. He told me to drive to the back again, after an hour I'm not! He said then come in, nope my back was killing me. So he told me he would call the police ok by then he could have my medicine filled! Twenty five minutes later the police show up but not my medication! Darn 30 more minutes and he still won't fill mine, the police tells me to move to the back I told her as soon as he got my medicine filled! She said or I call the wrecker and he will tow you! I told her to call them and I'm sure he will be done when by the tow truck made it! I left and came back later, not that brave. This month my meds were called in Tuesday and on Friday they still wouldn't answer the phone to let me know if mine meds were done! They play games with people all the time ! Time to call corporate again!

This place is horrible, I made an appointment for a flu shot, and after waiting for over an hour I walked out. Phone kept raining and no one answered the line was 2 isles down and only one poor guy in the register. If you can go somewhere else.

The pharmacy takes too long to go thru each customer and there is only one person working the counter. Then, the only person working drive-thru leaves, and the sole counter employee works that station, on top of her’s. I was also informed of some online section I needed to fill out for my flu shot, which was never made mentioned to me when I scheduled my appointment. Now, I’m at the mercy of other pharmacists to work on my paperwork, which I was not told about, before I can get a simple flu shot.

Cashier ripped me off. I bought cosmetics got home and they weren’t in the bag. Neither was a receipt! This has happened twice now! No more!!

Average Walgreens. The store is organized and clean. The staff aren't really eager to help, but I'd ask them for assistance, they will help. The cashier was on a personal cellphone call while ringing people up, so that was annoying/unprofessional. She was so engulfed in that conversation that she barely said a word to me. If they could get that under control, this store could possibly get 5 stars.

I would rather go to VA DMV, or dentist before I spend another dime at this store! Pharmacy is using wrong computer program, or needs to retrain all their employees! I am so done!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I kept getting automated messages from them saying that my pharmacy order was delayed so I called them this morning and spoke to an actual person after being on hold for 10 minutes. She gave me the reason for the delay in getting my prescription and told me that I could get 3 "loaner" pills to tide me over until Monday and then they could get my prescription straight. I thanked her and told her I would be there at 3 pm to pick them up. She even told me that it would be $6.40 for the pills. I got there at 2:55 and that's when everyone feigned ignorance. The pharmacist said that he would not under no uncertain terms issue me the 3 pills and asked me who I spoke with. I did not know the girl's name and told him that apparently they have communication problems within their pharmacy. I will not be using Walgreens pharmacy any longer after having been a long time customer of theirs. They have lost me as a customer and I can't wait until Monday morning to call my doctor's office to tell them what happened and to change my pharmacy!

Friendly staff that always make it a point to say "welcome to Walgreens", so next time you go, say it back because they're nice people.

Never have a package delivered to the store. I received an email from USPS stating my package was delivered. I called local store to verify. Kept being put on hold or asked to hold. After over 25 minutes, finally got someone to check. They said nothing was delivered. I said USPS indicated they handed to an individual at the store. They said no they didn't and USPS never comes that early. I called the customer service number and they said they would call local store. They came back on and said they told them the same thing. They couldn't understand because it indicated it was delivered. I was issued a refund. My opinion, they handed to check out clerk and they just tossed behind counter. Worse service I have ever received at a local store. Clerks rude and not helpful. They could have done more to locate. The store isn't that big.

This is positively the worst drug store I've ever been associated with. They must lack proper management because their workers are rude, ignorant and lack basic intelligence and customer service. Every time I come here I sit in my vehicle for 5, 10, 15 minutes starring at them while they ignore me. I only come here because 3 of my meds are sent here.
