My son's car broke down and AAA referred this company to him. The tow truck operator was extremely confused as to where they were located despite being given the google map coordinates. After finally picking up the vehicle, he called my son and told him he needed $15. He gave my son a third party's phone number and said to call them and give them his credit card. He failed to give my son any further details as to what the charge was for and the call ended. My son was reluctant to give a stranger his cc info over the phone so he did not do so especially sice the car was only being towed 1.8 miles and there should be no charge. The following day my son called the mechanic where it was to have been towed and he said the car never arrived. Despite many calls with AAA and the tow company, it took an additional 24 hours to learn that the car was towed to the impoundment lot because my son didn't provide his cc info to the third party. It ended up costing him $260.00 to get the car to a mechanic. At no time did the tow company ever state that that without the additional payent, the car would be towed to the impoundment lot. This company was unprofessional, unsympathetic to his plight and flat out took advantage of a young adult who was stranded in a remote location. Shame on them.

Very disappointed. State requires tow companies to take credit cards that are nationally recognized. They illegally towed my vehicle, charged $851 to get back after less than a day and would not take credit so we could sort out in court. Hope to get their licenses revoked.

This company is overcharging 'some people' for towing services. They overcharge my black niece 350.00 for a tow. She didn't authorize it. The store her car was towed from allowed it to remain there until she fixed her tire. They towed it anyway from Richmond, Va to Hanover, Va. This seems to be an extra mountable expense for a tow.

Total rip off, promised to repair head gasket, held the car for 3 weeks then said they couldn't get to it for 3 months. Raised the charges 70% (so no work done) then charged $170 for a round trip tow of 1.4 miles. Under staffed and lack professional standards. When you tow it to the shop to do the work then Fail to do the work and charge a tow back to my house, I call that a ripoff.Service: General repairs & maintenance

TOTAL SCAM, STAY AWAY!!! Had AC repaired for $1200 then + $800 = $2,000 = Still not fixed. After week of driving, NO AC. Went back, another $800. Set there 4 hours, was told, pressure hose was bad $350, and another $210 for freon and again for labor. Not to mention hearing of the gambling inside garage, and getting to meet the largest/worse drug dealer in Hopewell.2 weeks later, NO AC. Went to another shop, fixed for $45, for part and filled with freon, NO PROBLEMS. The 2 visits to M&J cost me total of $2,000 which included $420 ($210 per visit for freon) (I do not have rear AC)FOR YOUR FINANCIAL AND PERSONAL SAFETY, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.Service: Air conditioning

I'm reposting my other review just in case it didn't go through. They met me in the middle of the night when my tire blew out and got me all fixed up and back on the road. Very fair prices, too. Definitely recommend them!
