I traveled to Hopewell, VA to work nightshift at a chemical plant and stayed at the Hampton Inn Hopewell Fort Greg-Adams. It seems like service has gone downhill everywhere these days. I actually showed up at a hotel a few months back and there was no one at the front desk for 2 hours (it wasn’t a Hilton property). So I don’t expect much for service, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the service I received. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. Gailya was so pleasant and helpful. She checked on me every morning when I came in from work. She helped me with everything I needed. Jill and Renette had awesome hot breakfast ready every morning. Jill was always so cheerful and pleasant, she had me laughing every morning. Bella was so helpful in the evenings. My stay at this hotel was wonderful. It is nice to see great customer service and the customer service was spectacular. It is nice to know customer service is still alive and well. I totally recommend this hotel and will stay there anytime I am in the Hopewell area.

Worn, Uncomfortable beds. Old fixtures and plugs that ya have to jiggle, wires coming out of the wall where a smoke detector should be by law, but isn't. Back breaking chairs at desk. Business center, has no equipment and is closed. Hotel badly needs an updating, breakfast scorched 3 days running.

It was nice hotel for convenience. Had to change room night one of two because of a stale and mildew smell in the room. The bathtubs were dirty with hair in the tub and a dirty wash cloth still hanging in the shower. The staff were awesome! Very friendly and made sure my needs were met when requested.Rooms: Room smelled. Bathtub dirty with hair from the previous guest still in the bathtub.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Hamptons across the country. Some are better than others. This one is definitely showing it’s age and would benefit from a refresh. The room is clean and everything works as expected, but there a patches on the walls and dings on the furniture. My first floor room looks out onto a stand of trees and a ton of garbage. The breakfast is standard Hampton fare. I wish they would get a better brand of sausage.The staff in this particular Hampton has been great. Everyone takes the time to say hello. The lady managing the breakfast service made up some to go bags for an elderly couple full of snacks and sodas to last them through the day.Serviceable hotel, just needs a fresh coat of…well, everything.

Worst hampton I ever stayed at.After driving 10 hours to arrive at this hampton the worker was irritated because he had to put his phone down to check us in, so unprofessional.The next morning wasThanksgiving day 2023 we woke up to no hot breakfast actually one of the workers thought it was funny because we was looking for a hot breakfast.We walk back to our room with no breakfast to find the TV wasn't working.Our stay cost almost 300.00 its awful to pay all that money and don't get what you paid for.Hilton this is not acceptable.

Bad things: only one working washer and dryer, hotel does not sell soap powder, hotel can't provide change for washers or dryers $1.50 each in quarter's.Good : outstanding front desk clerk. Dining room attendant (Jill) when above expectations.

Stayed for one night. Chamika checked us in. She was delightful, gave us some great ideas for dinner. It was late when we arrived and looking out our room window we could only see trees. Imagine our delight the next morning when we could see we were overlooking a pond.The room was very clean. Breakfast staff was wonderful. It was a typical Hampton Inn breakfast but it was hot and enough to get us on our way.We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

We had a very good experience there. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. We found our room quickly. It was very clean and tidy. We arrived after dark and didn't notice the pond/woods view from our window. We saw the pleasant view in the morning, it was a nice way to start the day. They served a nice breakfast in the morning. Everyone was pleasant and had the customer in their thoughts and decisions. Well definitely stay here on our next trip through. I'd highly recommend staying here.

This Hampton Inn was really nice. Evette, one of the workers behind the desk, always made us feel welcomed every single time we walked in.The breakfast is great because of the cooks they have there, Jill and Renette, who would always accommodate those with different diets, by making turkey sausages if someone didn’t want pork sausages.The shower in our room would be backed up occasionally and the dryers on the second floor didn’t work the best, but other than that, this hotel is great!Rooms: The rooms are nice sized, with a microwave, refrigerator and with about 50 channels on the tv.Nearby activities: The food spots nearby are very plentiful.
