We arrived at the restaurant at around 2:30 PM (closing is 5 PM), but unfortunately, they had already run out of food. We live about 45 minutes away from the restaurant, and witnessing them running out of food so early in the day was both disheartening and frustrating. It seems like they need to improve their management and planning to avoid such situations in the future

Authentic Filipino cuisine with traditional welcoming hospitality in the heart of Hopewell. The only Filipino market/restaurant in the immediate Tricities area. They also have a food truck- SSG Pinoy Kitchen. Can’t wait for their expansion in the building next door to their current location. Great food, nice people. The owner Emily is very hospitable. You can’t go wrong. Don’t miss out.

Coming from a place that had a Filipino restaurant around every corner having EJ’s as a close by option was such a relief. There are only a couple Filipino cuisine places around the Richmond area. One thing that I wish I could change is this place will run out of food early afternoon. They do not cook enough to last their business hours.

My daughter just told me about this place right here in Hopewell, VA. I just stopped by to take a look around but I will return to try out the food because they have a grocery store and restaurant side by side.

Among the best restaurant experiences I've had in Richmond. Incredible, home cooked food. My friend and I ordered a variety of dishes and everything was amazing. The beef stew and limpia were the mvp's, along with the Sansrival cake. And the people were so friendly. Don't miss this place!

Place is really good to go eat. Wouldn't recommend to go for a big get together since it is small but it is a great place to shop for Filipino food and snacks. The employees are very considerate and accommodating. The have karaoke and the food is great for a great value. They soon will have a food truck going around town and the surrounding areas so check it out.

We came into the restaurant portion of this location on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very cute and well put together. There is even a selfie area with an adorable Boba sign. Staff was very friendly and helpful as soon as we entered. We would definitely return and recommend.

My family and I went to this place, cuz of halo- halo, but I end up buying lots of extra stuff ?. The halo halo was good, siomai, caldereta was pretty good as well. The mango boba is definitely amazing too. They grocery is just next to the restaurant and found lots of cream silk conditioner, so I bought so much .The lady taking our food order is honestly pretty amazing and so sweet. Definitely recommend this place if you missed Filipino food and snacks..
